O estudo utilizou uma abordagem qualitativa, combinando revisão de literatura e pesquisa documental de textos oficiais dos governos de países da América Latina. Foram selecionados 10 textos e 13 documentos. Por meio da análise de conteúdo, buscou-se identificar os prós e contras da adoção do Quadro, bem como padrões, tendências e desafios enfrentados pelos países ao fazerem essa integração em seus sistemas educacionais. Os artigos evidenciaram a flexibilidade do Quadro em atender às necessidades dos países, enquanto os documentos forneceram informações sobre a abrangência da implementação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Este artículo presenta un estudio bibliográfico sobre la implementación del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas en países latinoamericanos en el contexto de la enseñanza del inglés. El estudio utilizó un enfoque cualitativo, combinando revisión de literatura e investigación documental de textos oficiales de los gobiernos de países latinoamericanos. Fueron seleccionados 10 textos y 13 documentos. A través del análisis de contenido, se buscó identificar los pros y los contras de la adopción del Marco, así como los patrones, tendencias y desafíos enfrentados por los países al realizar esta integración en sus sistemas educativos. Los artículos destacaron la flexibilidad del Marco para satisfacer las necesidades de los países, mientras que los documentos proporcionaron informaciones sobre el alcance de su implementación.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This article presents a bibliographical study on the implementation of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in Latin American countries within the context of English language teaching. The study employed a qualitative approach, combining literature review and documentary research of official texts from the governments of Latin American countries. A total of 10 texts and 13 documents were selected. Through content analysis, the study aimed to identify the pros and cons of adopting the Framework, as well as discern patterns, trends, and challenges faced by countries in integrating the CEFR into their educational systems. The articles highlighted the flexibility of the Framework in meeting the needs of the countries, while the official documents provided information on the scope of the implementation.]]></p></abstract>
