For this reason, the aim of this paper is to present a guide designed to support teachers in enhancing their language assessment literacy with emphasis on promoting self-assessment as a tool for learning with children. The methodology presents the research stages undertaken to create such educational resource, and the analysis explains the guide&#8217;s icons sections, helping readers to understand how these sections can assist teachers in their self-learning process. In conclusion, teachers are expected to incorporate self-assessment practices in English classes with children to foster their learning development.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Ha tenido lugar los últimos años la necesidad de desarrollar el letramiento en la evaluación de lenguas con niños cada vez más pequeños. Por este motivo, el presente artículo tiene el objetivo de presentar una guía desarrollada para ayudar a los docentes a avanzar en su letramiento en lo que se refiere a la evaluación de lenguas con énfasis en la autoevaluación para el aprendizaje con niños. La metodología presenta las etapas de investigación que se han utilizado para crear dicho producto educativo y durante el análisis se explican los íconos de las secciones de la guía para que los lectores comprendan cómo dichas secciones pueden colaborar con los profesores en su proceso de aprendizaje autodidacta. En conclusión, se espera que los docentes hagan uso de la autoevaluación en las clases de inglés para niños con el propósito de desarrollar su aprendizaje.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[RESUMO A necessidade de desenvolver o letramento em avaliação de línguas com crianças cada vez mais jovens tem ganhado mais atenção nas escolas nos últimos anos. Por essa razão, o objetivo deste artigo é apresentar um guia desenvolvido para ajudar os professores a avançarem em seu letramento em avaliação de línguas com ênfase na autoavaliação para a aprendizagem com crianças. A metodologia apresenta os estágios de pesquisa trilhados para criar tal produto educacional, e, durante a análise, as seções dos ícones do guia são explicadas com o intuito de fazer com que os leitores entendam como essas seções podem ajudar os professores em seu processo de aprendizagem autodidata. Em conclusão, é esperado que os professores façam uso da autoavaliação em aulas de inglês com crianças para desenvolver sua aprendizagem.]]></p></abstract>
