Este artigo apresenta os conhecimentos, as habilidades e os princípios relevantes para o desenvolvimento do letramento em avaliação de línguas entre professoras de espanhol em um curso de formação continuada. Uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativo-interpretativista permitiu a geração de dados por meio do uso de diários reflexivos. Os resultados indicam que o curso ajudou as professoras a definirem objetivos e critérios avaliativos, ressaltando a importância de certos conhecimentos, habilidades e princípios para aprimorar a qualidade da educação e promover práticas avaliativas mais eficazes e justas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN La evaluación es esencial en la educación, pero los aspectos sociales, políticos y éticos son frecuentemente descuidados en la formación docente, lo que resulta en bajos niveles de literacidad en evaluación. Este artículo presenta los conocimientos, habilidades y principios relevantes para el desarrollo de la literacidad en la evaluación de lenguas entre las profesoras de español en un programa de formación continua. Una investigación de naturaleza cualitativa-interpretativa permitió la generación de datos mediante el uso de diarios reflexivos. Los resultados indican que el curso ayudó a las profesoras a definir los objetivos y criterios de evaluación, destacando la importancia de ciertos conocimientos, habilidades y principios para mejorar la calidad de la educación y promover prácticas de evaluación más efectivas y justas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Assessment is essential in education, yet social, political, and ethical aspects are often overlooked in teacher training, leading to low levels of assessment literacy. This article discusses the knowledge, skills, and principles relevant to the development of literacy in language assessment among Spanish teachers in a continuing education program. A qualitative-interpretive study generated data through the use of reflective journals. The findings indicate that the program helped teachers define assessment goals and criteria, highlighting the importance of specific knowledge, skills, and principles for improving the quality of education and promoting more effective and equitable assessment practices.]]></p></abstract>
