A partir de um referencial pós-estruturalista, investiga-se quais foram as condições que possibilitaram o crescimento de discursos antiLGBTI+. Para tanto, apresenta-se o histórico das No Promo Homo Laws e o texto da lei dos estados do Arizona, Alabama, Carolina do Norte, Carolina do Sul, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas e Utah. Conclui-se que analisar as leis antiLGBTI+ em outros países é de extrema importância para os estudos de gênero, uma vez que esse movimento antigênero não tem se propagado apenas no Brasil, mas tem conquistado um alcance global.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Considering the growing anti-LGBTI+ movement and its consequences in education, this article aims to analyze the laws of non-promotion of homosexuality in the United States that became known as No Promo Homo Laws. Based on a post-structuralist framework, it investigates the conditions that enabled the growth of anti-LGBTI+ discourses. To this end, the history of No Promo Homo Laws and the text of the law of the states of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas, South Carolina, Arizona, North Carolina, and Utah are presented. It is concluded that analyzing anti-LGBTI+ laws in other countries is extremely important for gender studies, since this anti-gender movement has not only spread in Brazil, but has gained a global reach.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Teniendo en cuenta el creciente movimiento anti-LGBTI+ y sus consecuencias en la educación, este artículo pretende analizar las leyes de no promoción de la homosexualidad en los Estados Unidos de América que se conocieron como No Promo Homo Laws. Basándose en un marco postestructuralista, investiga las condiciones que permitieron el crecimiento de los discursos anti-LGBTI+. Para ello, se presenta la historia de las No Promo Homo Laws y el texto de la ley de los estados de Alabama, Luisiana, Misisipi, Oklahoma, Texas, Carolina del Sur, Arizona, Carolina del Norte y Utah. Se concluye que analizar las leyes anti-LGBTI+ en otros países es extremadamente importante para los estudios de género, ya que este movimiento anti-género no sólo se ha extendido en Brasil, sino que ha adquirido un alcance global.]]></p></abstract>
