We selected only executive branch legislation related to women's economic development, including income transfer measures, care policies, vocational or affirmative actions. We calculated gross and relative rates of legislation production per year. Comparing the governments of Dilma Rousseff, in Brazil, and Michelle Bachelet, in Chile, with the other adjacent presidents, it is concluded that they produce more than men. Bachelet has the highest rate of pro-women legislation in her first term, but Rousseff surpasses Bachelet considering the total of both terms, highlighting Bachelet's lower production in her second term.
</abstract>
