Existe uma relação entre o aumento da escolarização da população e o aumento dos níveis de alfabetismo. Neste artigo, nosso objetivo foi analisar as relações entre as habilidades testadas pelo Indicador de Alfabetismo Funcional (Inaf) para considerar um cidadão alfabetizado funcionalmente e as habilidades testadas na Prova Brasil, na conclusão do Ensino Fundamental. Constatamos semelhanças entre as matrizes de ambas as provas. Identificamos que todas as habilidades testadas no Inaf estão contidas na Prova Brasil e a segunda é composta de textos mais complexos, mesmo sendo uma avaliação destinada a crianças e adolescentes, enquanto o Inaf testa apenas pessoas de 15 a 64 anos. Trata-se de pesquisa realizada por meio de análise bibliográfica e pesquisa documental.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Functional literacy comprises the minimum knowledge of reading, writing and processing numerical information required for a social subject to function in society. There is a relationship between the increase in the population&#8217;s schooling and the increase in literacy levels. In this article, we aimed to analyze the relationship between the skills tested by the Functional Literacy Indicator (Indicador de Alfabetismo Funcional &#8211; Inaf) to consider a citizen functionally literate and the skills tested by the Prova Brasil at the end of elementary school. We found similarities between the matrices of both tests. We identified that all the skills tested by the Inaf are contained in the Prova Brasil and that the latter is made up of more complex texts, even though it is an assessment aimed at children and adolescents, while the Inaf only tests people aged 15 to 64 years. This research was carried out using bibliographical analysis and documentary research.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen La alfabetización funcional incluye el mínimo de conocimientos en lectura, escritura y procesamiento de información numérica para que un sujeto social actúe en sociedad. Hay una relación entre el aumento de la escolarización de las personas y el aumento de los niveles de alfabetismo. El presente trabajo presenta como objetivo analizar las relaciones entre las habilidades probadas por el Indicador de Alfabetismo Funcional (Inaf) para que se valore un ciudadano funcionalmente alfabetizado y también las habilidades probadas en Prueba Brasil (Prova Brasil), al finalizar la Enseñanza Básica. Notamos similitudes entre las matrices de los dos exámenes. Identificamos que todas las habilidades probadas en Inaf se encuentran en Prueba Brasil y la segunda presenta textos más complejos, aunque sea una evaluación dirigida a niños y adolescentes, ya Inaf evalúa solo personas entre 15 y 64 años.
