Para tanto, analisam-se as narrativas produzidas, em entrevistas individuais e grupais semiestruturadas, por cinco licenciandas Kaingang que estudam em uma universidade pública rio-grandense. Entre os resultados destacam-se as reflexões por elas produzidas sobre a importância da interculturalidade na ação pedagógica e a relação, por vezes conflituosa, que mantêm com a cultura escolarizada e os conhecimentos científicos. O reconhecimento positivo da profissão docente em suas comunidades, aliado às contribuições sociais, políticas e epistêmicas que a docência tem ajudado a produzir por meio dos professores indígenas atuantes e em formação, motivam-nas a investir na educação escolar como um instrumento de luta política por direitos e de concretização de aspirações individuais e coletivas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This article discusses how future indigenous teachers learn to teach, considering the teaching experiences and knowledge they build in different contexts, as well as the challenges faced in the process. For that, we analyze the narratives produced, in individual and group interviews, by five Kaingang graduates who study at a public university in Rio Grande do Sul. Among the results, the reflections produced by them on the importance of interculturality in pedagogical action and the relationship, sometimes conflicting, that they maintain with school culture and scientific knowledge stand out. The positive recognition of the teaching profession in their communities, combined with the social, political and epistemic contributions that it has helped to produce through the indigenous teachers with whom they live and themselves, motivate them to invest in school education as an instrument of political struggle for rights and the realization of individual and collective aspirations.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Este artículo analiza cómo los futuros docentes indígenas aprenden a enseñar, considerando las experiencias de enseñanza y los conocimientos que construyen en diferentes contextos, así como los desafíos que enfrentan en el proceso. Para eso, analizamos las narrativas producidas, en entrevistas individuales y grupales, por cinco graduados de Kaingang que estudian en una universidad pública de Rio Grande do Sul. Entre los resultados destacan las reflexiones producidas por ellos sobre la importancia de la interculturalidad en la acción pedagógica y la relación, a veces conflictiva, que mantienen con la cultura escolar y el saber científico. El reconocimiento positivo de la profesión docente en sus comunidades, combinado con los aportes sociales, políticos y epistémicos que ha ayudado a producir a través de los maestros indígenas con quienes conviven y de ellos mismos, los motiva a invertir en la educación escolar como instrumento de lucha política. por los derechos y la realización de las aspiraciones individuales y colectivas.]]></p></abstract>
