Foram selecionados dois campos recentemente inseridos por leis: (i) as relações étnico-raciais e o ensino de História e Cultura Afro-brasileira; e (ii) o incentivo à cultura de paz. Para associá-los, integramos jogos digitais aos processos de ensino e de aprendizagem e adotamos o método da pesquisa-ação. Os resultados do trabalho, desenvolvido em uma escola pública paulistana, demonstraram ser possível a integração das demandas sociais e dos conteúdos curriculares por meio de jogos educativos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to reflect on how educational games can help school curricula to meet the social demands. Two fields recently inserted by laws were selected: (i) ethnic-racial relations and the teaching of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture; and (ii) the promotion of a culture of peace. To associate them, we integrate digital games into the teaching and learning processes and adopted the research-action method. The results of the study, developed in a public school in São Paulo, showed that it is possible to integrate social demands and curricular contents through educational games.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El objetivo de este estudio es reflexionar sobre cómo los juegos educativos pueden ayudar a los currículos escolares a satisfacer las demandas sociales. Se seleccionaron dos campos introducidos recientemente por la ley: (i) las relaciones étnico-raciales y la enseñanza de la Historia y la Cultura Afrobrasileñas; y (ii) fomentar una cultura de paz. Para asociarlos, integramos juegos digitales en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje y adoptamos el método de investigaciónacción. Los resultados del trabajo, realizado en una escuela pública de São Paulo, demostraron que es posible integrar demandas sociales y contenidos curriculares a través de juegos educativos.]]></p></abstract>
