Embora relevante, nem sempre resulta claro o que é este conceito, nem se as/os docentes estão implicadas/os na implementação de práticas pedagógicas associadas à inovação pedagógica. Neste artigo, apresenta-se a construção e validação do questionário Caracterização de Práticas de Promoção da Aprendizagem Ativa, administrado num instituto politécnico português. Das cinco unidades orgânicas, 136 docentes responderam ao questionário. Os resultados possibilitaram a identificação de metodologias e/ou estratégias de aprendizagem ativa utilizadas e demais "boas práticas" de promoção da aprendizagem ativa; desencadearam, também, reflexões sobre os desafios colocados à concretização da aprendizagem ativa no ensino superior.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Active learning is the product of pedagogical practices that place students in the center of teaching-learning processes: in the cocreation of learning scenarios and circumstances that are life-evocative, and in the co-development of attitudes, skills, and knowledge. Despite relevant, it is not always clear what this concept is, and if faculty are committed to the implementation of pedagogical practices associated with pedagogical innovation. In this paper, we present the design and validation of the questionnaire Characterization of Practices to Promote Active Learning, administered to faculty at a Portuguese polytechnic institute. A total 136 faculty of five departments responded to the questionnaire. Results identify active learning methodologies and/or strategies implemented by faculty, as well as other "good practices" to promote active learning. The results also elicit reflections about the challenges faced by active learning to become a reality in higher education.]]></p></abstract>

Aunque relevante, ni siempre resulta claro qué es este concepto, y si el profesorado está comprometido con la implementación de prácticas pedagógicas asociadas a la innovación pedagógica. Aquí, presentamos la construcción y validación del cuestionario de Caracterización de Prácticas de Promoción del Aprendizaje Activo, administrado en un instituto politécnico portugués. De los cinco departamentos, 136 profesoras/es contestaron al cuestionario. Los resultados identifican metodologías y/o estrategias de aprendizaje activo empleadas, y otras "buenas prácticas" de promoción del aprendizaje activo; permiten, además, reflexiones sobre los retos a la concretización del aprendizaje activo en la enseñanza superior.]]></p></abstract>
