Trata-se de um ensaio organizado em partes: aportes teórico-conceituais benjaminianos e bourdieusianos; e o legado desses autores para a questão da expressividade docente. Os aportes se mostram profícuos para atribuir à ED uma envergadura que contribui para a valorização e o fortalecimento dos professores das escolas; para a análise de práticas docentes e reflexão sobre os processos de trabalho docente de formação docente; e para as interações, nos encontros intergeracionais, com vistas à construção de uma cultura de colaboração. Concluiu-se que a ED pode trazer dupla perspectiva de investigação: a questão do oprimido e dominado; e a luta dos vencidos como inspiração de mudança, no presente, visando a contribuir para a reconstrução da docência como profissão.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This work aimed to resize the notion of teaching expressiveness (TE) in dialogue with contributions from Pierre Bourdieu and Walter Benjamin. This is an essay organized in parts: Bourdieusian and Benjaminian theoretical-conceptual contributions; and the legacy of these authors for the issue of teaching expressiveness. The contributions are useful in attributing to TE a scope that contributes to the appreciation and strengthening of school teachers; to the analysis of teaching practices and reflection on teaching work processes and teacher education; and to interactions in intergenerational meetings, with a view to building a culture of collaboration. It was concluded that TE can bring a double perspective of investigation: the issue of the oppressed and dominated; and the fight of the vanquished as an inspiration for change, in the present, which contributes to the construction of teaching as a profession.]]></p></abstract>
