Tamb&#233;m pretende descrever o perfil desses empregados nessas empresas. A coleta de dados foi realizada com 12 profissionais de Recursos Humanos por meio de um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturado cuja an&#225;lise ocorreu por meio da t&#233;cnica de an&#225;lise conte&#250;do. Os resultados revelaram que: 1) os profissionais de recursos humanos n&#227;o procuraram apoio de servi&#231;os terceirizados para especificar as vagas, recrutar ou selecionar os candidatos; 2) as vagas ofertadas eram predominantemente operacionais, em fun&#231;&#245;es mais simples; 3) as contrata&#231;&#245;es foram motivadas pela obrigatoriedade da lei; 4) a remunera&#231;&#227;o era baixa e os desligamentos geralmente acontecem por solicita&#231;&#227;o do trabalhador; 5) em todas as empresas pesquisadas havia pessoas contratadas com defici&#234;ncia intelectual e, em menor n&#250;mero, pessoas com defici&#234;ncia f&#237;sica; 6) a maioria dos funcion&#225;rios contratados possu&#237;a Ensino Fundamental completo. Conclui-se que a escolariza&#231;&#227;o &#233; imprescind&#237;vel &#224;s pessoas com defici&#234;ncia para a conquista do emprego e que havia desconhecimento, por parte das empresas, quanto ao conceito adequado de inclus&#227;o profissional, indicando a necessidade de a&#231;&#245;es integradas que contemplem esses aspectos para benef&#237;cio dos trabalhadores e das empresas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT: This research aims to describe and analyze the characteristics of disabled people's employment process from private companies in a city in countryside of S&#227;o Paulo State. It also intends to describe the profile of employees with disabilities in those companies. Data collection was carried out with 12 Human Resource professionals through a semi-structured interview script whose analysis occurred through the technique of content analysis. The results revealed that: 1) the human resources professionals did not seek support from outsourced services to specify the job openings, recruit or select candidates; 2) the offered job openings were predominantly operational, in simpler functions; 3) hiring was motivated by the law requiremen; 4) they were underpaid and the discharges usually took place by the employees' requirements; 5) in all the interviewed companies there were hired people with intellectual disability, whereas people with physical disability were also found, but outnumbered; 6) most hired employees had complete elementary school. It was concluded that education is essential for disabled people to have jobs and that the companies were not aware of the appropriate concept of professional inclusion, indicating the need for integrated action covering these aspects for the benefit of both workers and companies.]]></p></abstract>
