Os livros did&#225;ticos (LDs) de Ci&#234;ncias e de Biologia podem inserir esses textos, selecionados para diversificar suas fontes de informa&#231;&#227;o. Este trabalho analisou 60 textos de DC em sete LDs de Biologia para o ensino m&#233;dio, verificando que a maioria sofreu processos de reelabora&#231;&#227;o discursiva, em especial de elimina&#231;&#227;o, e altera&#231;&#227;o no sentido das imagens. Compreende-se que os textos inseridos apresentam car&#225;ter h&#237;brido, apresentando caracter&#237;sticas did&#225;ticas e de DC, pois os autores dos LDs n&#227;o os transformam em textos did&#225;ticos. Conclui-se que &#233; imprescind&#237;vel a leitura desses textos pelos professores para identificar o grau de comprometimento da vis&#227;o de natureza da ci&#234;ncia ap&#243;s a inser&#231;&#227;o no LD e discutir isso com os estudantes em sala de aula.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Popular Science texts used in Science teaching contextualize the school content and assist in scientific and technological literacy. Science and Biology textbooks insert these texts, selected to diversify their sources of information. This work analyzed 60 Popular Science texts in seven High School Biology textbooks; most of them suffered processes of discursive re-elaboration, especially of elimination, and alteration in the direction of the images. We showed that the inserted texts present a hybrid feature, presenting didactic and Popular Science elements, since the authors of the textbooks do not transform them into didactic texts. We concluded that it is essential that the teachers read these texts to identify the degree of impairment of the vision of nature of science occurs after insertion in the textbook and discuss this with the students in the classroom.]]></p></abstract>
