<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1517-97022023000100677&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1517-97022023000100677&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1517-97022023000100677&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Considerando que la promoción de una disposición positiva hacia la probabilidad y la estadística se ha establecido como una de las metas prioritarias de la corriente reformista en torno a su enseñanza en la escuela, en este trabajo, se adopta una perspectiva de género para abordar el objetivo de analizar las actitudes hacia la probabilidad y su enseñanza en una muestra de 269 futuros profesores y profesoras de matemática de Chile. A través de una metodología cuantitativa y con un alcance descriptivo, se identifican diferencias estadísticas entre las actitudes declaradas por las participantes y los participantes según la perspectiva teórica asumida. Los resultados reflejan en general actitudes positivas tanto en las futuras profesoras como en los futuros profesores. Sin embargo, las actitudes fueron significativamente más positivas en el grupo de hombres en lo referido a sus sentimientos de agrado hacia la probabilidad y la tendencia a usar el contenido para resolver problemas cuando sea conveniente. Se concluye con la discusión de las metas propuestas en contraste con la literatura previa y se proyectan los hallazgos como un insumo para considerar aspectos afectivos en la formación inicial del profesorado responsable de enseñar probabilidad en la escuela al igual que la inclusión de la perspectiva de género de modo transversal en dicho proceso.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Considering that promoting a positive disposition towards probability and statistics has been established as one of the priority goals of the reformist movement regarding their teaching in schools, this study adopts a gender perspective to address the objective of analyzing attitudes towards probability and its teaching in a sample of 269 pre-service Chilean mathematics teachers. Through a quantitative methodology and with a descriptive scope, statistical differences are identified between the attitudes declared by female and male participants based on the assumed theoretical perspective. The results generally reflect positive attitudes both among future female teachers and future male teachers. However, attitudes were significantly more positive in the male group regarding their feelings of liking towards probability and the tendency to use the content to solve problems when appropriate. The study concludes with a discussion of the proposed goals in contrast to previous literature and projects the findings as input to consider affective aspects in the initial training of teachers responsible for teaching probability in schools, as well as the inclusion of a gender perspective in a comprehensive manner throughout this process.]]></p></abstract>
