<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1517-97022023000100698&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1517-97022023000100698&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1517-97022023000100698&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Em Portugal, a Licenciatura em Educação Básica, criada em virtude da reformulação dos cursos decorrente do Processo de Bolonha, constituiu uma novidade no âmbito da formação inicial de professores e uma especificidade da formação dos profissionais que educam crianças entre 0 e 12 anos. No presente trabalho procurou-se compreender como as diferentes instituições de ensino superior operacionalizaram as orientações da tutela, relativamente ao desenho curricular da Licenciatura em Educação Básica, e que decisões tomaram no âmbito da sua autonomia. Para tal, procedeu-se a uma análise comparativa dos planos de estudo de 25 cursos de Licenciatura em Educação Básica existentes no país e em vigor no ano letivo de 2021/2022, quanto à organização das diferentes componentes de formação da licenciatura (formação na área de docência, formação educacional geral, didáticas específicas e iniciação à prática profissional). Fruto da análise realizada, é possível concluir que os cursos de Licenciatura em Educação Básica se caracterizam por uma valorização, no âmbito da autonomia das instituições, da componente de formação educacional geral e por uma organização curricular alicerçada numa lógica eminentemente disciplinar. No entanto, sobressaem grandes diferenças relativamente à forma como a iniciação à prática é operacionalizada, nomeadamente quanto: ao número de créditos e às horas de estágio; ao número de contextos que a iniciação à prática profissional contempla; e ao momento de introdução destas unidades curriculares/disciplinas ao longo do curso.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In Portugal, the Bachelor´s Degree in Basic Education, created as a result of the Bologna Process, was a novelty in the context of initial teacher training and a specificity in the training of professionals who educate children between 0 and 12 years old. This work is an attempt to understand how the different higher education institutions put in place the legal guidelines concerning the curricular design of the Bachelor´s Degree in Basic Education and the decisions they made within the scope of their autonomy. For this purpose, a comparative analysis has been conducted of the study plans of 25 Basic Education programs available in Portugal along the 2021&#8211;2022 academic year regarding the organization of the different training components (teacher education, general educational training, specific teaching methods, and introduction to professional practice). As a result of the analysis, it is possible to conclude that Basic Education courses are characterized by the appreciation, within the scope of the higher education institutions&#8217; autonomy, of the general educational training component and by a discipline-based model of curriculum design. However, major differences stand out regarding the way in which the introduction into professional practice is implemented, namely: the number of credits and hours of internship; the number of contexts included in the introduction into professional practice; and the moment these curricular units/disciplines are introduced throughout the course.]]></p></abstract>
