A escola e os profissionais que nela atuam possuem papel relevante nesse processo, pois se acredita que, por meio da conviv&#234;ncia nos diferentes espa&#231;os e das experi&#234;ncias vividas na escola, o aluno constr&#243;i conceitos relativos &#224; sua moral. Este artigo objetiva analisar as concep&#231;&#245;es de profissionais que atuam na rede municipal de ensino de munic&#237;pios localizados na regi&#227;o do Planalto Sul catarinense sobre como educar moralmente, bem como sobre as pr&#225;ticas e os desafios em rela&#231;&#227;o a esse processo. A base emp&#237;rica deste artigo &#233; uma investiga&#231;&#227;o de cunho explorat&#243;rio e de natureza qualitativa. Como procedimento de coleta de dados utilizou-se um question&#225;rio com quest&#245;es abertas e fechadas. A partir dos dados coletados, observou-se que os profissionais pesquisados atribuem import&#226;ncia ao seu papel na constru&#231;&#227;o moral dos alunos, preocupam-se com sua pr&#225;tica pedag&#243;gica e a organizam por meio de v&#225;rias estrat&#233;gias, considerando essa constru&#231;&#227;o.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The moral development of students is the result of a process. Schools and professionals play an important role in this process because it is believed that students build concepts related to moral when encountering different environmental conditions and experiences at school. The aim of the article was to analyze the conceptions of professionals who work at the municipal school system of municipalities in South Plateau region of Santa Catarina on how to morally educate and their understanding of the practices and challenges related to this process. This is an exploratory and qualitative research. A questionnaire with open and closed questions was used for data collection. From the data collected we found that the professionals surveyed believe their role to be important for the moral development of students and their practice is focused on different strategies for this purpose.]]></p></abstract>
