No entanto, historicamente, esse cruzamento tem acontecido dentro de relações assimétricas de poder, nas quais os conhecimentos das culturas dominantes tendem a prevalecer sobre os conhecimentos da cultura popular, aflorando a necessidade de questionamentos em torno deste cenário. Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar a Matriz Curricular para o Ensino Fundamental &#8211; anos finais (6° ao 9° ano) do componente Educação Física, do município de Cametá (Pará), proposta em 2017, pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação. A partir da análise do documento se buscam elementos que o caracterizam como um currículo colonizado, trazendo para a discussão e reflexão os princípios norteadores de um currículo multicultural, que valorize o patrimônio cultural corporal ribeirinho. A pesquisa é do tipo documental e está ancorada em uma abordagem qualitativa. Os resultados apontam a necessidade de construção coletiva e conflituosa de um currículo ribeirinho, que considere os saberes de um povo que tem sua produção cultural tecida no convívio com os rios e a floresta.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In multicultural societies, the school hosts a busy intersection of cultures. Historically, however, these crossings occurred within asymmetric relations of power, with dominant cultures&#8217; knowledge usually prevailing over the knowledge of popular culture, stressing the need to question this scenario. This research analyzes the pysical education component of the Curricular Matrix for Elementary School - Final Years (6th to 9th year), from the city Cametá (Pará, Brazil) proposed in 2017 by the Municipal Education Secretariat. From the analysis of the document, we investigated elements that characterize it as a colonized curriculum, debating and reflecting on the guiding principles of a multicultural curriculum that values &#8203;&#8203;the cultural-corporal heritage of the riverside. The results point to the need for a collectively constructed riverside curriculum that takes into consideration the knowledge of a people that has its cultural production woven with the conviviality with rivers and the forest.]]></p></abstract>
