<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1519-39932019000300463&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1519-39932019000300463&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1519-39932019000300463&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O objetivo desta pesquisa foi discutir a docência e aeducação no meio rural brasileiro à luz da História,evidenciando projetos antagônicos que disputarama hegemonia educacional e produtiva no campo.Resultante das pesquisas de pós-doutorado, a análiseé amparada na teoria e na metodologia materialistahistórica dialética e está inserida na área de Fundamentosda Educação e de suas subáreas: &#8220;História da educação&#8221;e da &#8220;Educação do campo&#8221;. O principal resultado doestudo aponta um dualismo histórico e estrutural da Educação Agrícola brasileira, em que a classe dominante ruralista impôs dois projetos: de um lado,uma educação elitista mais teórica, gerencial e de capatazia destinada aos filhos dos fazendeiros eaos seus gerentes; e, de outro, uma educação mais prática, &#8220;proletária&#8221; e alienada aos trabalhadores&#8220;braçais&#8221; agrícolas, o que refletiu na formação de professores e nos sistemas educacionais. Hoje, omeio rural conta com uma inovação, a &#8220;educação do campo&#8221;, que propõe romper com esse dualismohistórico por meio de uma solução libertadora, a qual defende os interesses dos &#8220;povos da terra&#8221;; nessaperspectiva, os camponeses, os ribeirinhos, os caiçaras, os indígenas e os demais trabalhadores ruraissão os protagonistas de seu futuro.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article aims to discuss teaching and education in the Brazilian countryside, evidencing antagonistic projectsthat dispute educational and productive hegemony in the field. This is a result of a postdoctoral research,this analysis is supported by the dialectical historical materialist theory and methodology, and is inserted ineducation fundamental areas and subareas: &#8220;History of Education&#8221; and &#8220;Education in the Countryside&#8221;. Themain result of this study points to a historical and structural dualism in the Brazilian agricultural educationin which the dominant ruralist class imposed two projects: a theoretical, managerial, elitist education for thefarmers&#8217; children and their managers, and a more practical, alienated &#8220;proletarian&#8221; education for agricultural&#8220;manual&#8221; workers, reflecting on teacher training and educational systems. Today, the rural world has aninnovation, the &#8220;Education in the Countryside&#8221; program, which proposes to break with this historical dualismoffering a liberating solution, defending the interests of the &#8220;workers of the soil&#8221;, in which peasants, riparians,natural hunters, natives and other rural workers are the protagonists of their own future.]]></p></abstract>
