<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1519-39932021000100100&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1519-39932021000100100&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1519-39932021000100100&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Este estudo busca evidenciar práticas de letramento escolar mediadas pela leitura de revistas de circulação nacional em uma instituição pública do interior do estado da Paraíba, tendo em vista a imersão dos alunos em uma cultura marcadamente letrada e a inclusão de práticas pedagógicas adequadas ao ensino da leitura para jovens, adultos e idosos (1º ao 5º ano) com histórico de reprovação e de abandono escolar. A pesquisa possui abordagem qualitativa e se caracteriza como uma pesquisa-ação, centrada na descrição e na análise das práticas de letramento em um espaço escolar que reúne discentes na faixa etária entre 15 e 65 anos, fundamentando-se nas teorias sociointeracionista e discursiva. Os resultados contribuem para as reflexões sobre os saberes necessários à formação docente, com vistas à organização de situação didática em torno de textos constituídos de uma representação de sentidos para a vida do alunado.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study seeks to highlight school literacy practices mediated by the reading of national journals in a public institution in the interior of the state of Paraíba, with a view to immersing students in a markedly literate culture, and considering the inclusion of appropriate pedagogical practices for teaching reading to young people, adults and the elderly (1st to 5th school year) who had a history of school failures and dropping out. The investigation has a qualitative approach and is characterized as an action research, centered on the description and review of literacy practices in a school space that brings together students in the age group between 15 and 65 years; and it is based on socio-interactionist and discursive theories. The results contribute to the reflections on the knowledge necessary for teachers&#8217; education with a view to organizing the didactic situation around texts constituted by a representation of meanings for the student&#8217;s life.]]></p></abstract>
