<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1646-933x2008000100005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1646-933x2008000100005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1646-933x2008000100005&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Reportando-nos à nossa experiência de coordenação do Programa de Acompanhamento do Uso da Internet nas Escolas, sua transformação em Internet@eb1 e posterior renomeação em programa CBTIC@EB1, no distrito de Aveiro, no período de 2002 a 2007, pretendemos fazer um balanço distanciado desse percurso, reflectindo sobre as eventuais mais-valias que terá trazido à integração das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. É também nosso propósito referir o que de relevante resultou das sucessivas edições de um programa que, embora ainda desejado com saudade por alguns, foi inexplicavelmente votado ao esquecimento e paulatinamente substituído por iniciativas dirigidas a outros ciclos de ensino. À distancia de um ano, o que ficou desse investimento? Qual o impacte do programa ou do seu abandono? Foram tomadas em linha de conta as recomendações da avaliação externa realizada? A perspectiva adoptada não é saudosista, nem pretende representar uma visão do todo nacional, já que mais centrada no distrito de Aveiro. Pretende ser o testemunho naturalmente parcelar de quem se encontrou envolvido na coordenação de uma iniciativa que, pensada com bondade, veio anualmente a esmorecer, sem perspectivas de futuro, e finalmente a “morrer na praia” de Janeiro de 2007, fruto de sucessivas e menos calmas conjunturas com as quais teve que conviver]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Looking back at our experience in the coordination of the Accompanying Programme of the Use of the Internet in Schools, subsequently transformed into Internet@eb1 and later renamed the CBTIC@EB1 Programme, in the district of Aveiro during the period 2002-2007, we intend to make a distanced assessment of the development of this project, reflecting upon the possible gains it may have brought to the integration of Information and Communication Technologies in primary education. It is also our goal to report whatever relevant outcomes resulted from the successive editions of a programme that, despite still being desired by some, was inexplicably condemned to oblivion and has been slowly substituted by initiatives aimed at other school levels. One year after the extinction of the programme, what was left of such investment? What was the impact of the programme and of its abandonment? Were the external evaluation recommendations taken into account? The perspective adopted here is not one of longing for the past, nor does it aim to present a national view since it is focused on the district of Aveiro. Our intention is simply to present the naturally delimited and personal position of someone who was involved in the coordination of this initiative, which, conceived on the basis of good intentions, came to wither, year after year, with no prospects for the future and finally "died on the beach" of January 2007, as a result of the unsettled times and contexts it was obliged to inhabit.]]></p></abstract>
