Oferece educa&#231;&#227;o profissional e tecnol&#243;gica, desde a forma&#231;&#227;o b&#225;sica at&#233; a p&#243;s-gradua&#231;&#227;o, incluindo forma&#231;&#227;o de professores. A Lei n.&#186; 11.892/2008, que rege as recentes mudan&#231;as propostas para essa forma&#231;&#227;o, expressa interesse em quest&#245;es sociais e ambientais, em articula&#231;&#227;o com outras pol&#237;ticas nacionais. H&#225; no IFSP espa&#231;o favor&#225;vel &#224; concretiza&#231;&#227;o dessas mudan&#231;as, que se refletem na prepara&#231;&#227;o de futuros t&#233;cnicos, tecn&#243;logos, engenheiros e professores. Esta pesquisa discute como essas quest&#245;es s&#227;o percebidas pelo corpo administrativo e como permeiam o curr&#237;culo e o ambiente escolar no IFSP. M&#201;TODO: Pesquisa qualitativa e an&#225;lise cr&#237;tica da produ&#231;&#227;o dos alunos e dos resultados de um question&#225;rio aplicado pela pesquisadora. Responderam ao question&#225;rio 318 dos 1865 funcion&#225;rios, distribu&#237;dos em 15 dos 27 campi em opera&#231;&#227;o em 2013. Em perspectiva transdisciplinar, discute-se a amplia&#231;&#227;o do conceito de respeito difundido na legisla&#231;&#227;o nacional de pol&#237;ticas afirmativas e ambientais, para todos os ambientes de conviv&#234;ncia humana, tendo-se em conta que melhorar o relacionamento homem-natureza pressup&#245;e melhorar o relacionamento humano para que uma constante atitude de respeito por tudo seja extrapolada para os recursos naturais. RESULTADOS: A atua&#231;&#227;o com pol&#237;ticas afirmativas revelou-se significativamente menor que com pol&#237;ticas ambientais. Conclus&#245;es: O estudo identifica as dificuldades para essa atua&#231;&#227;o e tamb&#233;m divulga o trabalho did&#225;tico e a produ&#231;&#227;o cient&#237;fica dos que est&#227;o engajados nessas quest&#245;es.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ INTRODUCTION: Founded in 1909, the S&#227;o Paulo Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology (IFSP) currently has 38 of a growing number of campuses in S&#227;o Paulo state, providing vocational and technological education, from basic education to graduate studies and teacher training. Law 11 892/2008, which governs the changes proposed for this formation, highlights the relevance of addressing social and environmental issues, with other national policies. The institute is a favorable setting for the materialization of these changes, improving the formation of future technicians, technologists, engineers, and teachers. This study discusses how these topics are perceived by the IFSP management staff and how these questions permeate the school environment and curriculum. METHOD: In this qualitative investigation, a critical analysis was conducted of the academic output of students, as well as of data collected with a questionnaire applied by the author. Respondents were 318 of 1865 staff, from 15 of the 27 campuses operating in 2013. In a cross-disciplinary perspective, the study discusses the importance of broadening the concept of respect expressed in Brazilian laws that shape environmental and affirmative-action policies, so as to extend the concept to all settings of human coexistence, considering that improving the relationship between man and nature implies improving human relationship itself, so that a permanent stance of respect towards everything can be extended to natural resources. RESULTS: Among respondents, engagement in affirmative-action policies proved significantly less pronounced than in environmental policies. Conclusions: The study identified the obstacles precluding fuller engagement. It also reports the teaching practice and the scientific output of those engaged with these issues.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[ INTRODUCCI&#211;N: Fundado en 1909, el Instituto Federal de Educaci&#243;n, Ciencia y Tecnolog&#237;a de S&#227;o Paulo (IFSP) cuenta con 38 campus en el estado de S&#227;o Paulo y sigue expandi&#233;ndose. Ofrece educaci&#243;n laboral y tecnol&#243;gica, desde la ense&#241;anza t&#233;cnica secundaria hasta el posgrado, formaci&#243;n docente inclusive. La ley 11.892/2008, que rige los cambios propuestos para esta capacitaci&#243;n, expresa inter&#233;s en temas sociales y ambientales, en articulaci&#243;n con otras pol&#237;ticas nacionales. Existe en el IFSP un espacio favorable para la concreci&#243;n de estos cambios, que se refleja en la preparaci&#243;n de futuros t&#233;cnicos, tecn&#243;logos, ingenieros y docentes. Esta investigaci&#243;n discute de qu&#233; modo percibe estas cuestiones el cuerpo administrativo, y c&#243;mo las mismas atraviesan el curr&#237;culo y el ambiente escolar. M&#201;TODO: Investigaci&#243;n cualitativa y an&#225;lisis cr&#237;tica de la producci&#243;n de los alumnos y de los resultados de un cuestionario aplicado por el investigador. Respondieron al cuestionario 318 de los 1865 funcionarios, distribuidos por 15 de los 27 campus existentes en la instituci&#243;n en el 2013. En una perspectiva transdisciplinaria, se discute la ampliaci&#243;n del concepto de respeto difundido en la legislaci&#243;n nacional de pol&#237;ticas afirmativas y ambientales a todos los ambientes de la convivencia humana, teniendo en cuenta que una mejor relaci&#243;n hombre-naturaleza supone tambi&#233;n mejorar las relaciones humanas, para que una permanente actitud de respeto por todo se extienda a los recursos naturales. RESULTADOS: La actuaci&#243;n con pol&#237;ticas afirmativas se ha revelado significativamente menor que con las pol&#237;ticas ambientales. Conclusiones: Este estudio identifica las dificultades para dicha actuaci&#243;n y tambi&#233;n divulga el trabajo did&#225;ctico y la producci&#243;n cient&#237;fica de aquellos que est&#225;n implicados en estos temas.]]></p></abstract>
