Este artigo objetiva trazer à tona uma reflexão sobre as tendências tecnológicas para os processos de ensino e aprendizagem, bem como as tendências e desafios que a integração tecnológica representa na educação básica pública brasileira. Por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e análise documental se contextualiza a importância da informática na educação. Os resultados apresentam que, apesar dos recursos tecnológicos estimularem o auto aprendizado, a postura crítica, a inserção do estudante no mercado, e a agilidade no trabalho docente, há ainda uma lacuna na realização de atividades envolvendo o pensamento computacional devido aos desafios encontrados.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The increasingly innovative technological resources drive society to constant progress and pressure the construction of a new paradigm in the educational field. This article aims to bring up a reflection on the technological trends for the teaching and learning processes, as well as the trends and challenges that technological integration represents in Brazilian public basic education. Through a bibliographical research and documentary analysis contextualizes the importance of informatics in education. The results show that, although technological resources stimulate self-learning, critical posture, student insertion in the market, and agility in the teaching work, there is still a gap in performing activities involving computational thinking due to the challenges encountered.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Los recursos tecnológicos cada vez más innovadores conducen a la sociedad al progreso constante y presionan la construcción de un nuevo paradigma en el campo educativo. Este artículo tiene como objetivo plantear una reflexión sobre las tendencias tecnológicas para los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, así como las tendencias y desafíos que representa la integración tecnológica en la educación básica pública brasileña. Por medio de una investigación bibliográfica y análisis documental se contextualiza la importancia de la informática en la educación. Los resultados muestran que, a pesar de que los recursos tecnológicos estimulan el auto aprendizaje, la postura crítica, la inserción del estudiante en el mercado, y la agilidad en el trabajo docentes, todavía hay una laguna en la realización de actividades que involucran el pensamiento computacional debido a los desafíos encontrados.]]></p></abstract>
