O Projeto tem como objetivo potencializar a aproximação entre a Universidade e a comunidade externa, de forma a fomentar a integração, o debate e a consciência crítica para questões sociais, culturais e educacionais, de forma a possibilitar a educação continuada. Como metodologia, utilizou-se dispositivos de informação e comunicação para mediação das ações do Projeto, tais como o Youtube e o Facebook para transmissão das lives, via StreamYard; o Instagram, Facebook e e-mails para marketing e conteúdo digital das atividades propostas, que incluíram palestras, oficinas, entrevistas com autores, e séries temáticas. Como resultado, esta ação extensionista alcançou mais de 12 mil visualizações nas transmissões ao vivo, além do engajamento do público e criação de uma rede de informação sobre assuntos de interesse dos campos do conhecimento em debate. A experiência ressalta a importância de ações inovadoras na educação, sobretudo, quando há distanciamento físico e social, utilizando tecnologias e a internet, de forma consciente, para promover a troca de experiências e permitir maior visibilidade dos conteúdos de ensino, pesquisas e extensão, além de iniciativas de boas práticas desenvolvidas no contexto pandêmico.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This is an experience report on the Open Room Extension Project, linked to the Information Science Institute, of the Federal University of Bahia, during the pandemic period of the new Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus. The Project aims to enhance the approximation between the University and the external community, in order to foster integration, debate and critical awareness of social, cultural and educational issues, in order to enable continuing education. As a methodology, information and communication devices were used to mediate the Project's actions, such as Youtube and Facebook for the transmission of lives, via StreamYard; Instagram, Facebook and emails for marketing and digital content of the proposed activities, which included lectures, workshops, interviews with authors, and thematic series. As a result, this extension action achieved more than 12 thousand views in live broadcasts, in addition to engaging the public and creating an information network on matters of interest in the fields of knowledge under debate. The experience highlights the importance of innovative actions in education, especially when there is physical and social distance, using technologies and the internet, in a conscious way, to promote the exchange of experiences and allow greater visibility of teaching, research and extension content, in addition to good practice initiatives developed in the pandemic context.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Se trata de un informe de experiencia sobre el Proyecto de Ampliación de Sala Abierta, vinculado al Instituto de Ciencias de la Información, de la Universidad Federal de Bahía, durante el período pandémico del nuevo coronavirus Sars-Cov-2. El Proyecto tiene como objetivo potenciar la aproximación entre la Universidad y la comunidad externa, con el fin de fomentar la integración, el debate y la conciencia crítica de los temas sociales, culturales y educativos, a fin de posibilitar la formación continua. Como metodología, se utilizaron dispositivos de información y comunicación para mediar las acciones del Proyecto, como Youtube y Facebook para la transmisión de vidas, vía StreamYard; Instagram, Facebook y correos electrónicos para marketing y contenido digital de las actividades propuestas, que incluyeron conferencias, talleres, entrevistas a autores y series temáticas. Como resultado, esta acción de extensión logró más de 12 mil visualizaciones en transmisiones en vivo, además de involucrar al público y crear una red de información sobre temas de interés en los campos del conocimiento en debate. La experiencia resalta la importancia de las acciones innovadoras en educación, especialmente cuando hay distancia física y social, utilizando las tecnologías e internet, de manera consciente, para promover el intercambio de experiencias y permitir una mayor visibilidad de los contenidos de docencia, investigación y extensión, en además de las iniciativas de buenas prácticas desarrolladas en el contexto de una pandemia.]]></p></abstract>
