Uma dessas tecnologias, chamada de Jogos Sérios, propõe a utilização de jogos digitais com finalidades para além do entretenimento do jogador, como educação, marketing e política. Esta pesquisa descreve o desenvolvimento de um jogo sério voltado ao processo de ensino-aprendizagem de normas, procedimentos e termos técnicos sobre sistemas fotovoltaicos. O jogo Phototype foi desenvolvido sob o apoio de metodologias voltadas a jogos educacionais, como o Heuristic Framework e o Learning Mechanics &#8211; Game Mechanics, e avaliado por intermédio de um questionário e instrumentos técnicos que observaram a percepção dos estudantes de um curso superior em relação às mecânicas de jogo e aprendizado do jogo digital. Os resultados da pesquisa identificaram uma experiência positiva por parte dos estudantes na utilização do jogo Phototype, sugerindo sua importância como ferramenta educacional e de apoio ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem, complementando o resultado de pesquisas anteriores.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The positive results on the use of new information technologies in education show new ways of attracting and engaging students in educational processes. One of these technologies is called Serious Games, which aims at using digital games with higher purposes than the entertainment of the player, such objectives can relate to education, marketing, and politics. This research describes the development of a serious game focused on the teaching-learning process of norms, procedures and technical terms about photovoltaic systems. The game called Phototype was developed under methodologies aimed at educational games, such as the Heuristic Framework and Learning Mechanics &#8211; Game Mechanics, and evaluated through a survey and technical instruments that aimed at observing the perception of undergrad school students about the game mechanics and learning. The results of the research identified a positive experience from students when using the game Phototype. Thus suggesting its importance as an educational tool and support to the teaching-learning process, endorsing the results of previous researches.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Los resultados positivos demostrados por varias investigaciones sobre el uso de nuevas tecnologías de la información en la educación muestran nuevas formas de atraer e involucrar a los estudiantes en el proceso educativo. Una de estas tecnologías, llamada Serious Games, propone el uso de juegos digitales más allá del entretenimiento del jugador, como la educación, el marketing y la política. Esta investigación describe el desarrollo de un juego serio dirigido al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de normas, procedimientos y términos técnicos sobre sistemas fotovoltaicos. El juego Phototype se desarrolló con el apoyo de metodologías destinadas a juegos educativos, como el Marco heurístico y la Mecánica de aprendizaje - Mecánica del juego, y se evaluó mediante un cuestionario e instrumentos técnicos que observaron la percepción de los estudiantes en un curso de educación superior en relación con mecánica de juegos y aprendizaje de juegos digitales. Los resultados de la investigación identificaron una experiencia positiva por parte de los estudiantes en el uso del juego Phototype, lo que sugiere su importancia como herramienta educativa y para apoyar la enseñanza-aprendizaje, complementando los resultados de investigaciones anteriores.]]></p></abstract>
