É esta percepção que nos motiva a contribuir com o debate sobre que concepções são (re)construídas a respeito das religiões de matrizes africanas por meio dos memes. Seguimos os caminhos da pesquisa social de base qualitativa, alicerçando-nos teoricamente nos Estudos do Cotidiano, Culturais e Decoloniais. Construímos o corpus de pesquisa selecionando memes para pensar, a partir da potência da autodesignação macumbeiras/os, como pensantespraticantes das redes sociais vão produzindo deslocamentos e provocando movimentos que aumentam a potência da visibilização de saberesfazeres, que se interseccionam em múltiplas possibilidades, que vão propiciando fluxos de formas e de reinvenção de um lógica hegemonicamente presente nas formas, modos de perceber e (re)conhecer culturas de matrizes africanas. Confirmamos que a opressão é escamoteada pela ideia de tolerância e pela exaltação superficial de direitos, além de ser, por vezes, naturalizada pela falta de conhecimento; no entanto, há também a produção de sentidos que legitimam e exaltam grupos não-hegemônicos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The number of profiles, groups and pages dedicated to African-based religions content has grown on social networks, such as Facebook and Instagram. It is this perception that motivates us to contribute to the debate about what conceptions are (re) constructed about African-based religions through memes. We follow the paths of social research, with a qualitative approach, theoretically basing ourselves on Everyday life, Cultural and Decolonial Studies. We built the research corpus selecting memes to think, based on the power of the self- designation macumbeiras/os, on how thinkers-practitioners of social networks are producing displacements and causing movements that increase the power of making their knowledges-and-how-to-dos visible, actions that intersect in multiple possibilities, that provide flow of forms and the reinvention of a hegemonic logic present in forms, ways of perceiving and (re) knowing cultures of African origin. We confirm that oppression is concealed by the idea of tolerance and by the superficial exaltation of rights, also sometimes naturalized by the lack of knowledge; however, there is production of other meanings that legitimize and exalt non-hegemonic groups.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El número de perfiles, grupos y páginas dedicados al contenido de las religiones de origen africano ha crecido en las redes sociales, como Facebook y Instagram. Es esta percepción la que nos motiva a contribuir al debate sobre qué concepciones se (re) construyen sobre las religiones de origen africano por medio de los memes. Seguimos los caminos de la investigación social, cualitativa, basándonos teóricamente en los Estudios de las Prácticas cotidianas, Culturales y Descoloniales. Construimos el corpus de investigación seleccionando memes para pensar, basados en el poder de la auto-designación como macumbeiras/os, sobre cómo los/las pensantespracticantes de redes sociales están produciendo desplazamientos y causando movimientos que aumentan el poder de hacer visible los saberhaceres, acciones que se cruzan en múltiples posibilidades, que proporcionan un flujo de formas y la reinvención de una lógica hegemónica presente en formas, formas de percibir y (re) conocer culturas de origen africano. Confirmamos que la opresión está oculta por la idea de tolerancia y por la exaltación superficial de los derechos, además de ser, a veces, naturalizada por la falta de conocimiento; sin embargo, también hay la producción de significados que legitiman y exaltan a los grupos no hegemónicos.]]></p></abstract>
