Trata-se de um estudo explorat&#243;rio, relativo &#224; primeira etapa de uma pesquisa mais ampla sobre o papel da universidade na forma&#231;&#227;o cient&#237;fica dos estudantes, com vistas a identificar possibilidades de colaborar com o fomento e fortalecimento da pr&#225;tica da pesquisa cient&#237;fica na Educa&#231;&#227;o Superior. Os dados foram obtidos com a aplica&#231;&#227;o de um question&#225;rio, elaborado pela Comiss&#227;o Europeia, adaptado e ampliado para atender ao objetivo desta pesquisa, que alcan&#231;ou 148 respostas de estudantes dos cursos de Ci&#234;ncias Cont&#225;beis e de Direito, do Campus XIX, da Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB). O foco anal&#237;tico foi concebido a partir de nove temas, relacionados com as dimens&#245;es da RRI: 1. Engajamento p&#250;blico e a ci&#234;ncia; 2. Educa&#231;&#227;o cient&#237;fica; 3. A percep&#231;&#227;o dos estudantes sobre a sua forma&#231;&#227;o cient&#237;fica; 4. Impacto global da ci&#234;ncia e tecnologia; 5. Atitude com rela&#231;&#227;o &#224; ci&#234;ncia e tecnologia; 6. &#201;tica e a ci&#234;ncia; 7. O jovem e a ci&#234;ncia; 8. G&#234;nero e a ci&#234;ncia; 9. Acesso aberto. As an&#225;lises revelaram uma significativa converg&#234;ncia entre a percep&#231;&#227;o e as atitudes dos estudantes em rela&#231;&#227;o &#224; ci&#234;ncia e tecnologia e as dimens&#245;es da RRI, al&#233;m de apontar que eles apoiam e compreendem a import&#226;ncia da universidade na sua forma&#231;&#227;o cient&#237;fica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to understand the broader perception and attitudes of university students in relation to science and technology, with a focus on approach to responsible research and innovation. This was an exploratory study on the first stage of a broader research on the university's role in the scientific education of students, in order to identify possibilities of collaborating with the promotion and strengthening of the practice of scientific research in higher education. The data were obtained with the application of a questionnaire, elaborated by the European Commission, adapted and expanded to meet the objective of this research, which reached 148 responses from students of the courses of Accounting and Law, Campus XIX, University of the State of Bahia (UNEB). Analytical focus was conceived from nine themes, related to the RRI dimensions: 1. Public engagement, 2. Scientific education; 3. The perception of students about their scientific education; 4. Overall impact of science and technology; 5. Attitude toward science; 6. Ethics; 7. Young man and science; 8. Gender; 9. Open access. The analyses revealed a significant convergence between students' perceptions and the RRI principles, in addition to pointing out that they support, understand the importance and are willing to learn and apply this approach in their academic practices, strengthening the university's role in their scientific education.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El objetivo de este estudio fue comprender la percepci&#243;n m&#225;s amplia y las actitudes de los estudiantes universitarios en relaci&#243;n a la ciencia y la tecnolog&#237;a, con enfoque en el enfoque de la investigaci&#243;n e innovaci&#243;n responsables. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio, relativo a la primera etapa de una investigaci&#243;n m&#225;s amplia, sobre el papel de la universidad en la formaci&#243;n cient&#237;fica de los estudiantes, con miras a identificar posibilidades de colaborar con el fomento y fortalecimiento de la pr&#225;ctica de la investigaci&#243;n cient&#237;fica en la Ense&#241;anza Superior. Los datos fueron obtenidos con la aplicaci&#243;n de un cuestionario, elaborado por la Comisi&#243;n Europea, adaptado y ampliado para atender al objetivo de esta investigaci&#243;n, que alcanz&#243; 148 respuestas de estudiantes de los cursos de Ciencias Contables y de Derecho, del Campus XIX, de la Universidad del Estado de Bah&#237;a - UNEB. O el enfoque anal&#237;tico fue concebido a partir de nueve temas, relacionados con las dimensiones de la RRI: 1. Compromiso p&#250;blico; 2. Educaci&#243;n cient&#237;fica; 3.
