Partimos do pressuposto oriundo do campo dos estudos culturais numa perspectiva pós-crítica em que o cinema é compreendido como um artefato cultural, portanto capaz de disseminar saberes e educar o seu público. O objetivo é analisar os diferentes modelos de masculinidades produzidos e visibilizados pelos currículos dos filmes. O argumento desenvolvido é que esses currículos operam de modos distintos a partir das representações de masculinidades de cada obra: a masculinidade hegemônica em &#8220;Tropa de Elite&#8221; e a masculinidade abjeta em &#8220;Praia do Futuro&#8221;. Concluímos que o cinema pode propiciar encontros potentes entre gêneros e sexualidades e o campo educacional, pois se por um lado um desses currículos reitera um modelo hegemônico hierárquico de masculinidade, por outro há vazamentos e escapes mais diversos e menos afeitos a normatividades.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The article takes as empirical material the models of masculinities conveyed in the curriculum of two brazilian films: &#8220;Elite Squad&#8221; and &#8220;Futuro Beach&#8221;. We start from the assumption arising from the field of cultural studies in a post-critical perspective in which cinema is understood as a cultural artifact, therefore capable of disseminating knowledge and educating your audience. The objective is to analyze the different models of masculinities produced and made visible by the film curriculum. The argument developed is that this curriculum operates in different ways from the representations of masculinities of each work: hegemonic masculinity in &#8220;Elite Squad&#8221; and abject masculinity in &#8220;Futuro Beach&#8221;. We conclude that the cinema can provide powerful encounters between genders and sexualities and the educational field, because if on one hand this curriculum reiterates a hierarchical hegemonic model of masculinity, on the other there are leaks and more diverse escapes and less affective to normativities.]]></p></abstract>

Partimos de la suposición que surge del campo de los estudios culturales en una perspectiva poscrítica en la que el cine se entiende como un artefacto cultural, por lo tanto, capaz de difundir el conocimiento y educar a su audiencia. El objetivo es analizar los diferentes modelos de masculinidades producidos y hecho visibles por el currículum cinematográfico. El argumento desarrollado es que este currículum opera de diferentes maneras a partir de las representaciones de masculinidades de cada trabajo: masculinidad hegemónica en &#8220;Tropa de Élite&#8221; y masculinidad abyecta en &#8220;Playa del Futuro&#8221;. Llegamos a la conclusión de que el cine puede proporcionar encuentros poderosos entre géneros y sexualidades y el campo educativo, porque si por un lado este currículum reitera un modelo hegemónico jerárquico de masculinidad, por otro lado hay filtraciones más diversas y menos afectos a las normatividades.]]></p></abstract>
