Assim, este artigo discute, por meio de uma análise comparativa, a temática e a construção discursiva e simbólica de dois produtos culturais dirigidos ao público infantil: o conto de fadas Rapunzel, escrito pelos irmãos Grimm no século XIX, e o filme Enrolados, baseado no mesmo conto, produzido pela Disney, em 2010. Para tanto, discorre-se acerca da infância e da produção cultural infantil, assim como sobre a linguagem fílmica e a literatura, considerando aspectos em que se assemelham e se diferenciam. Nos resultados, aponta-se a interdependência entre os dois produtos no que se refere ao universo diegético e às personagens, mas o filme, adaptado aos interesses da sociedade atual, ao abordar temas que apontam o novo papel da mulher na sociedade, assim como os extremos da vaidade, a independência e o livre arbítrio, sofre modificações profundas e traz ao público infantil, nos interstícios narrativos, posições axiológicos, conceitos e preconceitos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The symbiotic relationship between cinema and literature, apart from the organization of the narrative, also involves aspects related to verbal and visual languages, which gives meanings to texts. Therefore, this article discusses, through comparative analysis, the themes and the discursive and symbolic construction of two cultural products oriented to children: Rapunzel fairy tale, written by the Grimm Brothers in the nineteenth century, and the movie Tangled, based on the same story, produced by Disney in 2010. Thus, the text discusses on childhood and cultural production for children, as well as on film language and literature, considering aspects in which they are similar and where they differ. As for the results, it is pointed out the interdependence between the two products when referring to the diegetic universe and the characters, adapted to the interests of today's society. However, the film, when talking about themes that point out women's new role in society, as well as the extremes of vanity, independence and free will, goes through deep changes. It also brings the child spectators, on the narrative interstices, axiological positions, concepts and prejudices.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN La relación simbiótica entre cine y literatura sobrepasa la organización narrativa, pues involucra igualmente aspectos relativos a los lenguajes verbal y visual, lo que confiere sentidos a los textos. Así, por medio de análisis comparativo, el artículo discute el tema y la construcción discursiva y simbólica de dos productos culturales dirigidos al público infantil: el cuento de hadas Rapunzel, escrito por los hermanos Grimm en el siglo XIX, y la película Enredados, basada en el mismo cuento, producido por Disney en 2010. El presente artículo: el cuento de hadas. Para ello, analiza la producción cultural así como el lenguaje fílmico y literatura, en los aspectos en que se asemejan y se diferencian. Entre los resultados, se apunta la interdependencia entre los dos productos en lo que se refiere al universo diegético y los personajes, pero la película, al abordar temas que apuntan al nuevo papel de la mujer en la sociedad, así como a los extremos de la vanidad, la independencia y el libre albedrío, sufre modificaciones profundas, adaptados a los intereses de la sociedad actual, y aporta al público infantil, en los intersticios narrativos, posiciones axiológicas, conceptos y prejuicios.]]></p></abstract>
