Muitos escritores abordam a temática memória por diferentes vieses, sejam eles compreendidos na construção de cenários fictícios que relembram uma fase da vida, ou ainda, com a intencionalidade de desenvolver concepções filosóficas como é o caso de Simone nessa obra autobiográfica. A metodologia adotada consiste na análise dialética do conceito de memória e na investigação de como é apresentado o desenvolvimento psíquico nas recordações de vida da personagem principal da obra de Simone de Beauvoir, mediante a revisão bibliográfica dos estudos de Vigotski1, fundador dessa corrente teórica e de estudiosos brasileiros. A análise permite considerar que a autora, no que concerne ao desenvolvimento da memória, perfaz um caminho de descrição de suas vivências muito próximas das considerações do psicólogo russo acerca do desenvolvimento psíquico.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Recent researchers have approached the memory aspect in Simone´s de Beauvoir books from different perspectives. Most of the works carried out with this theme talk about the construction of fictitious scenarios that remind a phase of life, or the intentionality of developing philosophical conceptions. Given this background, this article aims at understanding the concept of memory in the Historical-Cultural Theory. We analyze Simone de Beauvoir´s autobiography: Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter focusing on the perception of the development of higher psychic function in different periods of human development, as opposed to how the psychic development is presented to the reader of by the author. The methodology consists in the dialectical analysis of the concept of memory, and how psychic development is presented in the life memories of the main character in Simone de Beauvoir's book, through a bibliographical revision of Vygotsky´s studies. With regard to the development of the memory, the analysis allows us to consider that the author performs a path of describing her experiences, very close to the considerations Vygotsky´s theory of development.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El artículo tiene como objetivo comprender el concepto de memoria en la Teoría Histórico-cultural, involucrando la percepción del desarrollo de esa función psíquica superior en diferentes períodos de la formación humana, en contraposición a la forma como el desarrollo psíquico es presentado al lector de Memorias de una joven formal de Simone de Beauvoir. Muchos escritores abordan la temática memoria por diferentes vieses, ya sea en la construcción de escenarios ficticios que recuerdan una fase de la vida, o aún, con la intencionalidad de desarrollar concepciones filosóficas como es el caso de Simone en esa obra autobiográfica. La metodología consiste en el análisis dialéctico del concepto de memoria y cómo se presenta el desarrollo psíquico en los recuerdos de vida del personaje principal de la obra de Simone de Beauvoir, mediante la revisión bibliográfica de los estudios de Vigotski, fundador de esa corriente teórica y de estudiosos brasileños. El análisis permite considerar que la autora, en lo que concierne al desarrollo de la memoria, constituye un camino de descripción de sus vivencias muy próximas a las consideraciones del psicólogo ruso acerca del desarrollo psíquico.]]></p></abstract>
