A pesquisa ocorreu nas bases de dados do Portal Regional da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, Gestión del Conocimiento RHS e PubMed, com foco em publicações realizadas no período de 2016 a 2019. Os artigos selecionados foram importados para o Software QSR Nvivo 11 para leitura e análise do conteúdo. O teor das publicações centra-se no histórico e no conceito de EIP; na relação EIP e integralidade do cuidado; e nas experiências curriculares no ensino de graduação em saúde. As iniciativas de EIP são incipientes e carecem de sistematização curricular quanto ao modelo a ser utilizado.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The goal of this article is to analyze the literature on Interprofessional Education (IPE) in undergraduate health education in Brazil, taking as reference the theoretical assumptions of Barr, Reeves; D'amour; Peduzzi and Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative and, thus, to monitor its development on the national scene. The research studied the databases of the Regional Portal of the Virtual Health Library, Gestión del Conocimiento RHS and PubMed, with a focus on publications from 2016 to 2019. The selected articles were imported into the QSR Nvivo 11 Software for in-depth reading and content analysis. The content of the publications focuses on the history and concept of IPE; in the IPE relationship and comprehensive care; and in curricular experiences in undergraduate health education. IPE initiatives are incipient and lack curricular systematization regarding the model to be used.]]></p></abstract>

La investigación se llevó a cabo en las bases de datos del Portal Regional de la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud, Gestión del Conocimiento RHS y PubMed, centrándose en las publicaciones de 2016 a 2019. Los artículos seleccionados se importaron al software QSR Nvivo 11 para una lectura en profundidad y análisis de contenido.
