Tal modalidade de ensino foi adotada de forma emergencial, em diversos países, como alternativa para garantir a continuidade do processo de ensino- aprendizagem. No entanto, importantes mudanças foram provocadas, tanto em relação ao seu público- alvo, quanto na vida de diversos atores (professores, alunos, pais) por conta das adequações necessárias. Visando analisar essa modalidade de ensino, o texto foi organizado de modo a contemplar três pontos principais: o contexto, o que aprendemos com pandemias anteriores e as principais dificuldades associadas a essa modalidade de ensino durante a atual pandemia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Remote education has gained an important place in education in these times of social isolation caused by the pandemic of the new coronavirus. This modality was adopted on an emergency basis, in several countries, as an alternative to guarantee the continuity of the teaching-learning process. However, important changes were brought about, both in relation to its target audience, and in the lives of several actors (teachers, students, parents) due to this necessary adaptation. In order to analyze this educational modality, the text was organized in order to contemplate three points: the context, what we learned with previous pandemics, and the main difficulties associated with distance education during the current pandemic.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN La enseñanza remota ha ganado un lugar importante en la educación en estos tiempos de aislamiento social causado por la pandemia del nuevo coronavirus. Esta modalidad de enseñanza fue adoptada de manera urgente, em muchos países, como una alternativa para garantizar la continuidad del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Sin embargo, se produjeron cambios importantes, tanto en relación con su público objetivo, como en la vida de varios actores (maestros, estudiantes, padres) debido a los ajustes necesarios en el período de emergencia actual. Para analizar esta modalidad de enseñanza, el texto se organizó para contemplar tres puntos principales: el contexto, lo que aprendimos de las pandemias anteriores y las principales dificultades asociadas con la DE durante la actual pandemia.]]></p></abstract>
