De acordo com a perspectiva do aprender fazendo, o aluno é empoderado ao fabricar produtos com o uso de diferentes materiais e tecnologias. O objetivo deste artigo é discutir as contribuições de seis atividades maker para a formação dos alunos de uma escola pública de Educação Básica. A metodologia teve como base a análise dos depoimentos extraídos de relatórios elaborados por professores da escola e pela pesquisadora. Como resultado, há evidências de que os alunos em colaboração com colegas e seus professores protagonizaram a produção de três protótipos de projetos sustentáveis, com a utilização de materiais recicláveis, o reuso de objetos e o emprego de tecnologias digitais. Entre os desafios estão a articulação entre os estudos curriculares e as questões-problema que emergiram a partir das criações desenvolvidas nas atividades maker.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Maker Education in schools can drive the transformation of pedagogical work by reversing the model of teaching and learning. According to the perspective of learning by doing the student is empowered when making products using different materials and technologies. The objective of this article is to discuss the contributions of six maker activities to students&#8217; education in a K-12 public school. The methodology was based on the analysis of the statements extracted from reports prepared by the school's teachers and a researcher. As a result, there is evidence that students, and in collaboration with colleagues and their teachers, were able to construct three prototypes of sustainable projects using recyclable materials, reused objects, and digital technologies. The challenges include the articulation between the curriculum and the problem situations that emerged from the creations developed in the maker activities.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Education Maker en las escuelas puede impulsar la transformación del trabajo pedagógico mediante la inversión del modelo de enseñanza y aprendizaje. De acuerdo con la perspectiva de aprender haciendo, el estudiante está capacitado para fabricar productos con el uso de diferentes materiales y tecnologías. El objetivo de este artículo es discutir las contribuciones de seis actividades maker a la formación de estudiantes de una escuela primaria pública. La metodología se basó en el análisis de las declaraciones extraídas de los informes elaborados por los maestros de la escuela y el investigador. Como resultado, hay evidencia de que estudiantes en colaboración con colegas y sus profesores han liderado la producción de tres prototipos de proyectos sostenibles, con el uso de materiales reciclables, la reutilización de objetos y el uso de tecnologías digitales.
