Objetivou-se conhecer a compreensão dos docentes sobre fake news, avaliar se e como as fake news são discutidas na escola, verificar estratégias curriculares e pedagógicas usadas pelos educadores na discussão da temática. Operou-se uma abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, adotando como instrumento de coleta de dados um questionário misto on-line. Nos resultados, identificamos docentes com entendimentos equivocados acerca das fake news e utilização de meios limitantes na checagem de fatos, bem como êxitos importantes na abordagem curricular.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article analyzed perceptions about fake news by Portuguese Language teachers from the State Education Network of Vale do Jiquiriçá/Bahia, since fake news emerges as a resource for the outbreak of an informational war and becomes a tool through which it is observed a process of deliberate disinformation of society. The objective was to know the understanding of teachers about fake news, to assess whether and how fake news is discussed at school, to identify curricular and pedagogical strategies used by educators in the discussion of the theme. A qualitative and quantitative approach was used, using a mixed online questionnaire as a data collection instrument. In the results, we identified teachers with misunderstandings about fake news and the use of limiting means in fact-checking, as well as important successes in the curricular approach.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo analizó las percepciones sobre las noticias falsas de los profesores de lengua portuguesa de la Red Estatal de Educación del Vale do Jiquiriçá/Bahia, ya que las noticias falsas emergen como un recurso para el estallido de una guerra informativa y se convierten en una herramienta a través de la cual se observa un proceso deliberado. desinformación de la sociedad. El objetivo fue conocer la comprensión de los docentes sobre las noticias falsas, evaluar si y cómo se discuten las noticias falsas en la escuela, identificar estrategias curriculares y pedagógicas utilizadas por los educadores en la discusión del tema. Se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, utilizando como instrumento de recolección de datos un cuestionario online mixto. En los resultados identificamos docentes con incomprensiones sobre fake news y el uso de medios limitantes en la verificación de hechos, así como importantes aciertos en el abordaje curricular.]]></p></abstract>
