É uma pesquisa qualitativa desenvolvida durante os anos de 2018 e 2019, cujo corpus foi composto por transcrições de diários de campo e rodas de conversa de acolhimento. Observou-se que os alunos ressaltam aspectos apreendidos aos quais não teriam acesso seguindo apenas o roteiro da anamnese, marcada por interrupções e direcionamentos para a doença, procedimento tido por eles como normal. A influência do currículo oculto ficou clara, mas a coleta de narrativas proporcionou para esses alunos um momento de vivência de empatia e escuta ativa, mobilizando afetos e emoções.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of this research is to present how the undergraduate students of a medical course linked to a University Center located in the city of São Paulo, SP, experienced the collection of narratives of illness from people with chronic diseases and the impact caused by said experience. It is a qualitative research developed during the years of 2018 and 2019, whose corpus was composed of field diaries and transcripts of welcoming conversation circles. It was observed that the students highlighted learning aspects which they would not have access following only the anamnesis script, well-marked by interruptions and overly directed towards the disease, a procedure considered to be normal. The influence of the hidden curriculum was clear, but the collection of narratives provided these students with a moment of empathy and active listening, mobilizing affections and emotions.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El propósito de esta investigación es presentar cómo los estudiantes de un curso de medicina en un Centro Universitario ubicado en la ciudad de São Paulo, SP, experimentaron la recopilación de narrativas de enfermedad de personas con enfermedades crónicas y el impacto que esta experiencia generó. Se trata de una investigación cualitativa desarrollada durante los años 2018 y 2019, cuyo corpus estuvo compuesto por transcripciones de diarios de campo y círculos de conversación de bienvenida. Se observó que los estudiantes resaltan aspectos aprendidos a los que no tendrían acceso, siguiendo únicamente la anamnesis, marcada por interrupciones e indicaciones de la enfermedad, procedimiento considerado por ellos como normal. La influencia del currículum oculto fue clara, pero la colección de narrativas brindó a estos estudiantes un momento de experiencia de empatía y escucha activa, movilizando afectos y emociones.]]></p></abstract>
