Minas Gerais foi um dos primeiros estados a criar cursos nesse n&#237;vel, sobretudo na &#225;rea de educa&#231;&#227;o, cuja g&#234;nese este estudo enfoca objetivando apontar caminhos para escrever a hist&#243;ria recente da Educa&#231;&#227;o Superior, ressaltando as comemora&#231;&#245;es dos 25 anos da P&#243;s-Gradua&#231;&#227;o em Educa&#231;&#227;o da Universidade Federal de Uberl&#226;ndia. De natureza documental, a pesquisa considerou como fontes documentos legais e dados estat&#237;sticos analisados com enfoque hist&#243;rico-contextual. Os resultados mostram que, uma vez criada, a P&#243;s-Gradua&#231;&#227;o expandiu-se vinculada ao Ensino Superior, valeuse de incentivos fiscais e fomento institucional em Minas e enfrentou ditames das pol&#237;ticas neoliberais como redu&#231;&#227;o no n&#250;mero de bolsas e na dura&#231;&#227;o dos cursos. A pesquisa permite concluir que um caminho para escrever essa hist&#243;ria s&#227;o os relatos de professores que iniciaram as pr&#225;ticas de P&#243;s-Gradua&#231;&#227;o e transformaram-nas em um sistema essencial ao avan&#231;o da ci&#234;ncia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[In 1965, the Brazilian Federal Council of Education institutionalized postgraduate studies through the 977/65 Legal Bulletin. Minas Gerais was one of the first states to create postgraduate programs, especially in education, which genesis this study focuses with the aim of pointing out ways to write the recent history of Higher Education and highlight the 25th anniversary of postgraduate studies in education at the Federal University of Uberl&#226;ndia. As a documental research, this study relies upon legal documents and statistical data analysed with a historical and contextual approach. The results show that, once created, postgraduate studies was expanded in connection with Higher Education, received stimulus both from tax and institutional enhancement in Minas Gerais and faced effects of neoliberal policies such as decrease in the number of scholarships and duration of courses. This study allows to conclude that one way to write this history are the teachers' reports who started the postgraduate practices and turned them into an essential system for the advancement of science.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[En 1965, la norma 977 del Consejo Federal de Educaci&#243;n brasile&#241;o institucionaliz&#243; el posgrado en Brasil. Minas Gerais fue de los primeros estados que crearon cursos de ese nivel, especialmente en la educaci&#243;n, cuya g&#233;nesis este est&#250;dio discute con el objetivo de indicar maneras de escribir la historia reciente de la educaci&#243;n superior y destacar las celebraciones de los 25 a&#241;os de posgrado en Educaci&#243;n de la Universidad Federal de Uberl&#226;ndia. Esta investigaci&#243;n documental se basa en fuentes legales y datos estad&#237;sticos, analizados con un enfoque hist&#243;rico y contextual. Los resultados muestran que, una vez creado, el posgrado fue ampliado en vinculaci&#243;n con la expansi&#243;n de la educaci&#243;n superior; que Minas Gerais estimul&#243; su posgrado con incentivos fiscales e institucionales; e que el posgrado enfrent&#243; los efectos de las pol&#237;ticas neoliberales, que incluyen la reducci&#243;n en el n&#250;mero de becas y en la duraci&#243;n de los cursos. La investigaci&#243;n permite concluir que los relatos de los maestros que iniciaron la pr&#225;ctica de posgrado e la convirtieron en un sistema esencial para el avance de la ciencia son &#250;tiles para escribir la historia de lo posgrado brasile&#241;o.]]></p></abstract>
