A an&#225;lise realizada se fundamentou nos pressupostos te&#243;rico-metodol&#243;gicos do materialismo hist&#243;rico-dial&#233;tico, perpassando pela concep&#231;&#227;o ontol&#243;gica do trabalho e adentrando na sua dimens&#227;o hist&#243;rica capitalista. A pesquisa se constituiu a partir de dados estat&#237;sticos do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais An&#237;sio Teixeira (INEP), informa&#231;&#245;es disponibilizadas pela Secretaria Estadual de Educa&#231;&#227;o do Paran&#225; (SEED-PR) e dados disponibilizados por 37 Institui&#231;&#245;es de Ensino Superior (IES) do estado do Paran&#225;. Os resultados revelam que h&#225; uma oferta maior de pedagogos em rela&#231;&#227;o ao crescimento da demanda de tais profissionais no mercado de trabalho, ocasionando uma popula&#231;&#227;o excedente de professores. A conclus&#227;o &#233; de que esta condi&#231;&#227;o contribui para a desvaloriza&#231;&#227;o do valor de sua for&#231;a de trabalho.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This paper aims at analyzing the relation between supply and demand of teaching professionals in the state of Paran&#225; (2009-2013) by questioning the relation between work and education in capitalism, as well as the process of teaching professionals (de)valuation. The analysis was based on the historical-dialectical materialism theoretical-methodological approach, addressing the ontological conception of work and focusing on its capitalist historical dimension. The research surveyed statistical data from the National Institute of Studies and Education Research An&#237;sio Teixeira (INEP, Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation), information given by the State of Paran&#225; Education Secretariat (SEED-PR, Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation) and data made available by 37 Higher Education Institutions (IES, Brazilian Portuguese abbreviation) in the State of Paran&#225;. The results revealed that there is greater supply of teaching professionals in relation to the job market demand for such activity, which leads to an excess of teachers. The conclusions reveal that this condition tends to contribute to the devaluation of this workforce.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este art&#237;culo tiene como objetivo analizar la relaci&#243;n de oferta y demanda de pedagogos en el estado de Paran&#225; (2009-2013), discutiendo la relaci&#243;n entre el trabajo y la formaci&#243;n en el capitalismo y el proceso de (des) valorizaci&#243;n de los profesionales de la Pedagog&#237;a. El an&#225;lisis se basa en los principios te&#243;ricos y metodol&#243;gicos del materialismo hist&#243;rico y dial&#233;ctico, pasando por la concepci&#243;n ontol&#243;gica de la obra y adentrando en su dimensi&#243;n hist&#243;rica capitalista. La investigaci&#243;n est&#225; fundamentada por los datos estad&#237;sticos del Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais An&#237;sio Teixeira (INEP), informaci&#243;n proporcionada por el Departamento de Educaci&#243;n del Estado de Paran&#225; (SEED-PR) y los datos aportados por 37 instituciones de educaci&#243;n superior (IES) de estado de Paran&#225;. Los resultados revelan que hay un mayor n&#250;mero de docentes en relaci&#243;n con el crecimiento de la demanda de estos profesionales en el mercado laboral, provocando un exceso de poblaci&#243;n de los profesores. Por lo tanto, la conclusi&#243;n es que esta condici&#243;n contribuye a la depreciaci&#243;n del valor de su fuerza de trabajo.]]></p></abstract>
