As an&#225;lises, fundamentadas em um estudo bibliogr&#225;fico, tomam como refer&#234;ncias Rousseau, Pestalozzi e Korczak, cujos estudos contribu&#237;ram para uma compreens&#227;o sobre as especificidades da crian&#231;a bem como o necess&#225;rio respeito &#224; sua condi&#231;&#227;o humana. A crian&#231;a &#233; considerada enquanto sujeito concreto, situado historicamente. Em seus modos de viver a inf&#226;ncia produz cultura e &#233; nela produzida, desenvolvendo-se a partir das intera&#231;&#245;es que estabelece com o ambiente e com aqueles com os quais convive. O estudo destaca como elementos fundamentais que precisam ser considerados nos processos educativos desenvolvidos com a crian&#231;a: a liberdade, o desenvolvimento da autonomia, a valoriza&#231;&#227;o da crian&#231;a pelo que ela &#233; no presente e a proposi&#231;&#227;o de espa&#231;os de participa&#231;&#227;o. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This paper aims to present a reflection on the urgency of establishing educational processes that respect children in their development and human dignity. The analysis, based on a bibliographical study, take as references Rousseau, Pestalozzi and Korczak, whose studies contributed to an understanding about the specificities of the child as well as the necessary respect for their human condition. The child is considered as a concrete subject, situated historically. In their way of living childhood produces culture and is produced in it, developing itself from the interactions it establishes with the environment and with those with whom it coexists. The study highlights as fundamental elements that need to be considered in the educational processes developed with the child: freedom, autonomy development, appreciation of the child for what they are in the present and the proposition of spaces of participation.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: El presente art&#237;culo tiene por objetivo presentar una reflexi&#243;n sobre la urgencia de constituir procesos educativos que respeten al ni&#241;o en su desarrollo y en su dignidad humana. Los an&#225;lisis, basados en un estudio bibliogr&#225;fico, toman como referencia a Rousseau, Pestalozzi y Korczak, cuyos estudios contribuyeron a la comprensi&#243;n de las especificidades del ni&#241;o y al necesario respeto a su condici&#243;n humana. El ni&#241;o es considerado como sujeto concreto, situado hist&#243;ricamente. En sus modos de vivir la infancia produce cultura y es en ella producido, desarroll&#225;ndose a partir de las interacciones que establece con el ambiente y con aquellos con quienes convive.
