Pressupostos de John Dewey e Jorge Larrosa fornecem apoio para a perspectiva compreensiva que identifica a formação docente como um processo sucessivo de fazer experiência. Os procedimentos de coleta, análise e interpretação de dados aproximam-se dos princípios da entrevista compreensiva, proposta por Kaufmann. Foram realizadas 13 entrevistas com professoras da rede pública de ensino. Os resultados apontam o cenário de docência dessas professoras marcado pelo sentimento de luta pela dignidade do seu trabalho: ao mesmo tempo que pressões e restrições características do espaço escolar em que atuam as incomodam, também desvelam oportunidades para se afirmarem profissionalmente.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this article, a discussion about the conditions that teachers of the early grades of Elementary School have to make experience in the school space, weakened by conservative policies, and about professional development through this experience is presented. John Dewey and Jorge Larrosa&#8217;s assumptions provide support for the comprehensive perspective that identifies teacher training as a successive process of making experience. The procedures for data collection, analysis and interpretation are close to the principles of the comprehensive interview, proposed by Kaufmann. Thirteen interviews were conducted with public school teachers. The results point to the teaching scenario of these teachers marked by the feeling of struggle for the dignity of their work: while the characteristic pressures and restrictions of the school space in which they operate disturb them, they also reveal opportunities for them to affirm themselves professionally.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En este artículo, se presenta una discusión sobre las condiciones de que disponen maestras de los años iniciales de la Educación Básica para hacer experiencia en el espacio escolar, fragilizado por políticas conservadoras, y sobre el desarrollo profesional por medio de esta experiencia. Presupuestos de John Dewey y Jorge Larrosa proporcionan apoyo a la perspectiva comprensiva que identifica la formación docente como un proceso sucesivo de hacer experiencia. Los procedimientos de recolección, análisis e interpretación de datos se aproximan a los principios de la entrevista comprensiva, propuesta por Kaufmann. Fueron realizadas 13 entrevistas con docentes de escuelas públicas. Los resultados apuntan el escenario de docencia de esas docentes marcado por el sentimiento de lucha por la dignidad de su trabajo: al mismo tiempo que presiones y restricciones características del espacio escolar en que actúan las molestan, también desvelan oportunidades para que se afirmen profesionalmente.]]></p></abstract>
