Para ello, se recuperan los principales avances, fortalezas y tensiones que, en materia educativa, el ciclo de gobiernos progresistas desplegó en Uruguay, a la vez que se analizan los aspectos centrales del proyecto educativo conservador, que el novel gobierno de derecha impulsa en el país. El análisis realizado permite aludir al pasaje de una privatización latente a una privatización manifiesta presente en la estrategia política que se materializa en un Proyecto de Ley de Urgente Consideración, dentro de la cual se promueven formas de privatización en y de la educación que debilitan su lugar como espacio público.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The present paper aims to analyze the changes that the "new right-wing" promotes in Uruguay in the field of education around three central themes: a) the concept or nature of education, b) the organization and administration of Basic Education, and c) the work and participation of teachers. To this end, the main achievements, strengths, and tensions that the cycle of progressive governments in Uruguay displayed in the field of education are recovered, while the central aspects of the conservative education project that the new right-wing government is promoting in the country are analyzed. The analysis carried out allows to allude to the transition from latent privatization to manifest privatization present in the political strategy that materializes in the &#8220;Proyecto de Ley de Urgente Consideración&#8221; (Bill of Urgent Consideration), in the framework of which forms of privatization in and of education are promoted that weaken its place as a public space.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: O objetivo do presente trabalho é analisar as mudanças que a "nova direita" impulsiona no Uruguai no campo educativo em torno de três eixos centrais: a) concepção ou natureza do educativo, b) organização e governo da Educação Básica, e c) trabalho e participação docente. Para isso, recuperam-se os principais avanços, fortalezas e tensões que o ciclo de governos progresistas implantou no Uruguai em matéria educativa, ao mesmo tempo em que se analisam os aspectos centrais do projeto educativo conservador que o novo governo de direita impulsa no país. A análise realizada permite aludir a passagem de uma privatização latente a uma privatização manifesta presente na estratégia política que se materializa num Projeto de Lei de Urgente Consideração, no âmbito da qual se promovem formas de privatização em e da educação que enfraquecem seu lugar como espaço público.]]></p></abstract>
