Trata-se de uma problemática da história e da filosofia que evidencia a constituição de um ethos caboclo decolonial do Contestado. Diante disso, assumimos, nos procedimentos metodológicos, um delineamento bibliográfico, cuja abordagem é interpretativa e qualitativa. Se considerarmos o ethos, para os gregos (matriz dos colonizadores), como a própria ontologia, não nos é possível excluir ou violentar os traços do ethos das primeiras comunidades do Oeste catarinense, pois eles, os povos originários e os caboclos, também se caracterizam pelo espírito comunitário, pela igualdade e pela solidariedade. Em nosso resultado, constatamos que: a) o ethos decolonial caracterizou a essência nas comunidades do Oeste catarinense; e b) o ethos correspondeu à constituição dos hábitos das comunidades originárias, tornando impossível sua sobrevivência e resistência temporal. Por fim, o ethos caboclo foi constituído com os povos que viveram e resistiram no Oeste de Santa Catarina, a partir do cultivo da ancestralidade e das práticas do bem viver em sua territorialidade.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: In this reflection, our hypothesis considers that the caboclos are remnants of an African matrix of thought in the West region of the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is about a history and philosophy problem that shows the constitution of a decolonial caboclo ethos of the Contestado. Therefore, we asume, in the methodological procedures, a bibliographic design, with an interpretative and qualitative approach. If we consider the ethos, for the Greeks (colonizers&#8217; matrix), as the ontology itself, it is not possible for us to exclude or violate the traces of the ethos of the first communities in Western Santa Catarina, as they, the native peoples and the caboclos, are also characterized by the community spirit, equality and solidarity. In our result, we found that: a) the decolonial ethos characterized the essence in the communities of Western Santa Catarina; and b) the ethos corresponded to the constitution of the habits of the original communities, making their survival and temporal resistance impossible. Finally, the caboclo ethos was formed with the peoples who lived and resisted in the Western Santa Catarina, from the cultivation of ancestry and the practices of good living in their territoriality.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: En esta reflexión, nuestra hipótesis considera que los caboclos son remanentes de una matriz de pensamiento africana en el Oeste de Santa Catarina, Brasil. Se trata de una problemática de la historia y de la filosofía que evidencia la constitución de un ethos caboclo decolonial del Contestado. Delante de esto, asumimos en los procedimientos metodológicos, un delineado bibliográfico, cuyo enfoque es interpretativo y cualitativo. Si consideramos el ethos para los griegos (matriz de los colonizadores), como la ontología misma, no nos es posible excluir o violentar los trazos del ethos de las primeras comunidades de Oeste catarinense, pues ellos, los pueblos originarios y los caboclos, también se caracterizan por el espíritu comunitario, pela igualdad y la solidaridad. En nuestro resultado, constatamos que: a) el ethos decolonial caracterizó la esencia en las comunidades del Oeste de Santa Catarina, y b) el ethos decolonial correspondió a la constitución de los hábitos de las comunidades originarias, tornando imposible su supervivencia y resistencia temporal. Por fin, el ethos caboclo fue constituido con pueblos que vivieron y resistieron en el Oeste de Santa Catarina, a partir del cultivo de la ancestralidad y de las prácticas de buen vivir en su territorialidad.]]></p></abstract>
