Neste âmbito, foi objetivo desta investigação conhecer o modo como participam os atores educativos de um Agrupamento de Escolas na tomada de decisão no processo de autoavaliação. O estudo incluiu as abordagens quantitativa e qualitativa, envolvendo a aplicação de um inquérito a uma população de 217 professores e a realização de 16 entrevistas, aprovado pelo serviço de Monitorização de Inquéritos em Meio Escolar, do Ministério da Educação, Portugal. Resumida à esfera decisória dos órgãos de gestão e suas tecnoestruturas, concluiu-se que a participação no processo de autoavaliação se encontra esvaziada de uma ação emancipatória dos seus atores, razão pela qual, aventa-se, não foi ainda encontrado o caminho para uma autoavaliação transformadora que sirva à escola democrática.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The self-evaluation process gives rise to a confrontation of rationalities that places, on the one hand, an instrumental and instrumentalizing self-evaluation and, on the other hand, a self-evaluation as an exercise in participatory democracy. In this context, the objective of this investigation was to understand how the educational actors of a Group of Schools participate in decision-making in the self-evaluation process. The study included quantitative and qualitative approaches, involving the application of a survey to a population of 217 teachers and the carrying out of 16 interviews, approved by the School Survey Monitoring service, of the Ministry of Education, Portugal. Summarized to the decision-making sphere of management bodies and their technostructures, it was concluded that participation in the self-evaluation process is devoid of an emancipatory action by its actors, which is why the path to a transformative self-evaluation that serves the democratic school has not yet been found.]]></p></abstract>

En este ámbito, el objetivo de esta investigación fue conocer el modo como los actores educativos de un Grupo Escolar participan en la toma de decisión en el proceso de autoevaluación. El estudio incluyó los abordajes cuantitativo y cualitativo, involucrando la aplicación de una encuesta a una población de 217 docentes y la realización de 16 entrevistas, aprobada por el servicio de Monitoreo de Encuestas en el Medio Escolar del Ministerio de Educación de Portugal. Resumida a la esfera decisiva de los órganos de gestión y sus tecnoestructuras, se concluye que la participación en el proceso de autoevaluación se encuentra vacía de una acción emancipadora de sus actores, razón por lo que, se aventa, aún no se ha encontrado el camino hacia una autoevaluación transformadora que sirva a la escuela democrática.]]></p></abstract>
