A medida que las tecnologías de IA se integran cada vez más en los sistemas educativos, ofrecen oportunidades sin precedentes para mejorar las experiencias de aprendizaje a través de la educación personalizada, sistemas de tutoría inteligentes y monitoreo del rendimiento. Estas aplicaciones no solo facilitan un enfoque educativo a medida, sino que también introducen desafíos significativos y riesgos, como preocupaciones sobre la privacidad de los datos, sesgo algorítmico y el potencial de ampliar las desigualdades educativas. El artículo describe de manera exhaustiva los riesgos involucrados con la implementación de la IA en contextos educativos y propone medidas estratégicas para mitigarlos. Enfatiza la importancia de establecer directrices éticas robustas y marcos regulatorios para proteger contra el mal uso de los datos y asegurar la equidad y transparencia en las aplicaciones de IA. Además, el artículo aboga por un papel proactivo de los educadores y los formuladores de políticas en la configuración de la integración de la IA en la educación para alinear con los estándares éticos y los objetivos educativos. A través de un análisis detallado de las capacidades y peligros de la IA, el artículo ofrece una perspectiva equilibrada sobre cómo navegar las complejidades de la IA en la educación.
