Para tanto, discute a educa&#231;&#227;o como uma das pol&#237;ticas p&#250;blicas para a inf&#226;ncia e algumas concep&#231;&#245;es de inf&#226;ncia, para subsidiar a compreens&#227;o da rela&#231;&#227;o entre essas pol&#237;ticas e aquelas de natureza educacional definidas para a inf&#226;ncia, atualmente. Aborda tamb&#233;m princ&#237;pios de educa&#231;&#227;o democr&#225;tica e de qualidade para todos, tendo como refer&#234;ncia alguns pressupostos dos Planos Nacionais de Educa&#231;&#227;o de 2001-2010 e 2011-2020 para a educa&#231;&#227;o infantil. Por fim, ser&#227;o feitas reflex&#245;es, a t&#237;tulo de proposi&#231;&#245;es para a import&#226;ncia de se valorizar a inf&#226;ncia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This essay aims at discussing and analyzing, based on a literature review, the relations among state, public policies in education, and childhood. For such, it discusses education as a public policy for childhood and some conceptions of childhood, to support the understanding of the relationship between these policies and those of an educational nature defined for children today. It also addresses principles of democratic education and of quality for all, taking as reference some assumptions of the National Education Plans of 2001-2010 and 2011-2020, for early childhood education. Finally, reflections will be made, by way of propositions on the importance of valuing childhood.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[El art&#237;culo tiene como objetivo discutir y analizar, a partir de una revisi&#243;n de la literatura, las relaciones entre Estado, pol&#237;ticas p&#250;blicas de educaci&#243;n y la infancia. Discute la educaci&#243;n como una pol&#237;tica p&#250;blica para los ni&#241;os y algunas concepciones de la infancia, para apoyar la comprensi&#243;n de la relaci&#243;n entre estas pol&#237;ticas y las de car&#225;cter educativo definido para los ni&#241;os de hoy. Tambi&#233;n se ocupa de los principios de la educaci&#243;n democr&#225;tica y de calidad para todos, con referencia a algunos supuestos de los Planes Nacionales de Educaci&#243;n de 2001-2010 y 2011-2020 para la educaci&#243;n infantil. Por &#250;ltimo, ser&#225;n hechas reflexiones, y la propuesta de la importancia de valorizar la infancia.]]></p></abstract>
