Realizamos entrevistas semiestruturadas com vinte orientadores educacionais da rede pública de ensino do Distrito Federal; revisões bibliográficas de documentos da Secretaria de Estado de Educação e publicações nas bases de dados Google Acadêmico, Scielo e Portal de Periódicos da Capes, utilizando como filtro as palavras-chave: &#8220;orientação educacional&#8221; e &#8220;formação&#8221;. Como embasamento teórico, ressaltam-se autoras como Bicudo (1978), Pascoal et al. (2008), Grinspun (2011) e Curado Silva (2019).]]></p></abstract>

Realizamos entrevistas semiestructuradas con veinte asesores educativos del sistema escolar público del Distrito Federal; revisiones bibliográficas de documentos de la Secretaría de Estado de Educación y publicaciones en las bases de datos Google Scholar, Scielo y Portal de Periódicos da Capes, utilizando las palabras clave: &#8220;orientación educativa&#8221; y &#8220;formación&#8221; como filtro. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article analyzes the role of the Educational Advisor in relation to the political and social functions of the school and its formation, and how it relates to the demands arising from his career. We conducted semi-structured interviews with twenty educational advisors from the public school system in the Federal District; bibliographic reviews of documents from the State Department of Education and publications in the Google Scholar, Scielo and Portal de Periódicos da Capes databases, using the keywords: &#8220;educational advisor&#8221; and &#8220;training&#8221; as a filter.
