Utilizou-se o Google Acadêmico como ferramenta de busca e valeu-se da Análise Textual Discursiva para analisar os textos: unitarizou-se o texto, categorizou-se os temas e construiu-se um metatexto. Os resultados indicam que a temática se concentra em quatro categorias distintas: grupo estudantil como (1) espaço de fomento ao desenvolvimento socioemocional; (2) espaço de treinamento e desenvolvimento de habilidades acadêmicas e profissionais; (3) espaço de difusão de ideologias políticas e culturais; e (4) estratégia para retenção e fidelização de alunos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo tuvo como objetivo construir una revisión bibliográfica sobre la forma en que los grupos de estudiantes extracurriculares se presentan en el ámbito universitario. Se utilizó Google Scholar como herramienta de búsqueda y se utilizó el Análisis Textual Discursivo para el análisis. Los resultados indican que la producción científica se concentra en cuatro categorías: grupo de estudiantes como (1) espacio para fomentar el desarrollo socioemocional; (2) espacio para la formación y desarrollo de competencias académicas y profesionales; (3) espacio para la difusión de ideologías políticas y culturales; y (4) estrategia de retención y fidelización de estudiantes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article aimed to build a literature review of the way in which extracurricular student groups present themselves in the university environment. Google Scholar was used as a search tool and the Textual Discursive Analysis was used to analyze the selected texts. The results indicate that scientific production is concentrated in four distinct categories: student group as (1) a space for fostering socio-emotional development; (2) space for training and development of academic and professional skills; (3) space for the dissemination of political and cultural ideologies; and (4) strategy for student retention and loyalty.]]></p></abstract>
