Trata-se de uma investigação que tem por base o estudo de resumos de teses e dissertações sobre o tema, produzidas de 2000 a 2010 em programas de pós-graduação em educação no Brasil. Do universo de 1.283 pesquisas sobre política educacional, foram analisados 149 trabalhos que tratam de planos, programas e projetos. O estudo permite concluir que a política educacional pauta a agenda de pesquisa na pós-graduação e que a fragmentação das ações no setor público tem uma repercussão direta na produção de conhecimento na área.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of this article is to analyze the ways of delimitation of knowledge object in scientific production at educational policy academic field. It is an investigation that is based on the study of theses and dissertations abstracts, produced from 2000 to 2010 in Education postgraduate programs in Brazil. From the total of 1,283 researches in educational policy field, 149 works that deal with plans, programs and projects were analyzed. The study allows us to conclude that the educational policy guides the research agenda in postgraduate studies and that the actions fragmentation at public sector has a direct repercussion on the knowledge production in the area.]]></p></abstract>

Se trata de una investigación que tiene como base el estudio de resúmenes de tesis y disertaciones sobre el tema, producidas de 2000 a 2010 en programas de postgrado en educación en Brasil. En el universo de 1.283 investigaciones sobre política educativa, se analizaron 149 trabajos que tratan de planes, programas y proyectos. El estudio permite concluir que la política educativa pauta la agenda de investigación en el postgrado y que la fragmentación de las acciones en el sector público tiene una repercusión directa en la producción de conocimiento en el área.]]></p></abstract>
