Compreender melhor a formação dos docentes se faz importante para direcionar melhor as ações formativas. A análise dos dados mostrou que, apesar de uma grande parcela dos docentes do estado do Paraná possuir formação em nível superior, nem todos têm formação em licenciatura e há uma parcela deles que atuam em disciplinas que não condizem com sua formação. Nesta condição, destacam-se docentes da rede privada e os professores com contratos temporários.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The article analyzes the Teacher Training Adequacy Indicator of professionals working in the final years of elementary school and high school in Paraná, using the platform Mapping of Teacher Training in Paraná (Mapfor Paraná), based on school census data. A better understanding of teacher training is important to better direct formative actions. Data analysis showed that, despite a large portion of teachers in the state of Paraná having higher education degrees, not all of them have a degree in education and some of them teach subjects that do not correspond to their degree. In this condition, teachers from private schools and those with temporary contracts stand out.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El artículo analiza el Indicador de Adecuación de la Formación Docente de los maestros que actúan en la Enseñanza Básica y Media en Paraná, a través de la plataforma de Mapeo de la Formación Docente en Paraná (Mapfor Paraná) con base en datos del Censo Escolar. Una mejor comprensión de la formación docente es importante para orientar mejor las acciones de formación. El análisis de los datos mostró que, aunque una gran parte de los docentes del estado de Paraná tiene educación superior, no todos tienen título y hay algunos que trabajan en disciplinas que no corresponden a su formación. En esta condición se destacan los docentes de la red privada y los docentes contratados como temporales.]]></p></abstract>
