Indaga, sob a inspira&#231;&#227;o dos Estudos Culturais em suas vertentes p&#243;s-estruturais, sobre os ambientes das imagens e seus efeitos pedag&#243;gicos, buscando confrontar tais imagens midi&#225;ticas com outras provenientes de um projeto de tese cujo intuito &#233; criar cartografias dos afetos. O prop&#243;sito desta pesquisa &#233; ir ao encontro da multiplicidade, abrindo muitos ambientes em uma mesma imagem. Conclui-se o artigo argumentando que imagens midi&#225;ticas da sustentabilidade nos vendem um ambiente j&#225; de antem&#227;o planejado, controlado, definido e "verde".]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This article introduces the discussion of narratives of environment and sustainability as captured in press images. Inspired by Cultural Studies and their post structural perspectives the focus lies on the pedagogical effects of these images. The essay sets the media images against cartographies of affect created in an earlier research projects. The objective of the projects is to encounter the multiplicity in order to reveal various environments of the images. This article argues that media images depicting sustainability succeed a priori in selling a planned, controlled, and "green" environment.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[El art&#237;culo abre preguntas sobre c&#243;mo la sustentabilidad ambiental viene siendo narrada a trav&#233;s de im&#225;genes de la capa de un cuaderno period&#237;stico. En el texto se indagan los ambientes de las im&#225;genes y sus efectos pedag&#243;gicos, seg&#250;n las vertientes pos-estructurales de Estudios Culturales. El ensayo se esfuerza en confrontar esas im&#225;genes medi&#225;ticas con otras procedentes de un proyecto de tesis cuya intenci&#243;n es crear cartograf&#237;as de los afectos. El prop&#243;sito de esta investigaci&#243;n es suscitar la multiplicidad, abriendo muchos ambientes en una misma imagen, una misma cartograf&#237;a afectiva. El art&#237;culo finaliza argumentando que las im&#225;genes medi&#225;ticas de la sustentabilidad nos venden un ambiente, de antemano, planeado, controlado, definido y "verde".]]></p></abstract>
