O ateliê é entendido aqui como um espaço dinâmico e formador marcado por (a) um "uso das coisas", opondo-se ao consumo das coisas e (b) por uma margem de "sombra" capaz de tencionar a luz como seu contrário. A pintura, concentrando estas características distintivas que são postas em relevo pelos autores, permite conceber um jogo em que "sombra" e "luz" compõem uma relação cooperativa e que, em termos educacionais, conduz à positivação da "marginalidade" &#8211; de forma não estigmatizante &#8211;, o inacabado e a abertura &#8211; à criação &#8211; como componentes da formação humana.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This essay analyzes a Jan Lievens&#8217; (1607-1674) painting, which portrays a boy in an atelier, with the purpose of discussing the "contemporaneity" &#8211; in the perspective of Giorgio Agamben &#8211; of an education that makes use of the "shadow" as an educational power. The atelier is understood here as a dynamic and formative space marked by (a) the "use of things", opposing the "consumption of things" and (b) by a margin of "shadow" capable of make tension to light as its opposite. The painting, concentrating these distinctive features, allows us to conceive a game in which "shadow" and "light" make up a cooperative relationship that in educational terms leads to the positivation of a (non-stigmatizing) "marginality", "unfinished" and the "opening" &#8211; to creation &#8211; as components of human formation.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este ensayo analiza una pintura de Jans Lievens (1607-1674), que retrata a un niño en un taller, con el objetivo de discutir la "contemporaneidad" &#8211; desde la perspectiva de Giorgio Agamben &#8211; de una educación a partir del uso de la "sombra" como potencia educativa. El taller se entiende aquí como un espacio dinámico y formador marcado por (a) un "uso de las cosas", oponiéndose al consumo de las cosas y (b) por un margen de "sombra" capaz de producir tensión a la luz como su contrario. La pintura, concentrando estas características distintivas que son puestas en relieve por los autores, permite concebir un juego en el que "sombra" y "luz" componen una relación cooperativa y que, en términos educativos, conduce a la positivación de la "marginalidad" &#8211; de manera no estigmatizante &#8211;, el "inacabado" y la "apertura" &#8211; a la creación &#8211; como componentes de la formación humana.]]></p></abstract>
