Discute-se a contribuição do modelo pedagógico da Escola Cristã, nome dado por La Salle às suas escolas, para a educação brasileira contemporânea. O principal texto de referência para esta pesquisa é o Guia das Escolas Cristãs, obra pedagógica de La Salle. A partir dele, são analisados relatórios que mostram a realidade educacional do Brasil na última década. Realizando uma crítica às políticas educacionais brasileiras, busca-se uma saída para garantir o real e integral direito à educação de qualidade, preconizado pela legislação brasileira. Conclui-se que esta saída passa pela compreensão, já existente de maneira intuitiva na pedagogia de La Salle, de que universalizar o acesso à educação é mais do que apenas oferecer vagas para todos nas escolas, mas garantir uma escola na qual todos os elementos que a compõem estejam em íntima relação com o ser humano que nela está.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This bibliographical and documentary aims to establish a relationship between the pedagogy of John the Baptist La Salle (1651-1719), developed between the 17th and 18th centuries, and the Brazilian education of the 21st century in the perspective of the etics of inclusion. We discuss the contribution of the pedagogical model of the Christian School, the name given by La Salle to its schools, for contemporary Brazilian education. The main reference text for this research is The Conduct of Christian Schoools, a pedagogical work written by La Salle. From it, reports that show the educational reality of Brazil in the last decade are analyzed. Critical to Brazilian educational policies, we seek a way out to guarantee the real and integral right to quality education, as recommended by Brazilian legislation. It is concluded that this way out passes through the understanding, already existing in an intuitive way in the pedagogy of La Salle, that to universalize the access to the education is more than just to offer vacancies for all in the schools, but to guarantee a school in which all the elements that the make up are in close relation with the human being that is in it.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este estudio, de carácter bibliográfico y documental, tiene por objetivo establecer una relación entre la pedagogía de Juan Bautista La Salle (1651-1719), desarrollada entre los siglos XVII y XVIII, y la educación brasileña del siglo XXI en la perspectiva de la ética de inclusión. Se discute la contribución del modelo pedagógico de la Escuela Cristiana, nombre dado por La Salle a sus escuelas, para la educación brasileña contemporánea. El principal texto de referencia para esta investigación es la Guía de las Escuelas Cristianas, obra pedagógica de La Salle. A partir de él, se analizan informes que muestran la realidad educativa de Brasil en la última década. Realizando una crítica a las políticas educativas brasileñas, se busca una salida para garantizar el real e integral derecho a la educación de calidad, preconizado por la legislación brasileña.
