De certa forma, passou a dirigir as finalidades, as estratégias e os processos educacionais, pautando-se por interesses individualistas e competitivos. Diante disso, este artigo tem como objetivo afirmar a abordagem das capacitações (capabilities) como uma proposta teórica relevante para orientar políticas educativas e estratégias pedagógicas que contribuam para a liberdade dos sujeitos, a formação humana e a cooperação social. O estudo constitui-se como pesquisa qualitativa, orientado pelo método analítico-hermenêutico, em que se emprega o procedimento metodológico de pesquisa bibliográfica. O texto está estruturado em três núcleos: o primeiro busca apresentar, em linhas gerais, a abordagem das capacitações em Sen (capabilities); o segundo explica a versão das capacitações (capabilities) em Nussbaum; e o terceiro afirma a abordagem das capacitações (capabilities) como referencial para construir e desenvolver políticas educativas e propostas pedagógicas que almejem uma educação para a liberdade.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: La reducción del sujeto a las condiciones de bienestar individual o el espirito empresarial de si mismo se ha convertido en una racionalidad que ha llegado a regir las relaciones humanas y sociales. En cierto modo, comenzó a dirigir los propósitos, las estrategias y los procesos educativos, guiados por intereses individualistas y competitivos. En vista de eso, este artículo pretende afirmar el enfoque de las capacidades (capabilities) como una propuesta teórica relevante para orientar las políticas educativas y las estrategias pedagógicas que contribuyen a la libertad de los sujetos, la formación humana y la cooperación social. El estudio se constituye como una investigación cualitativa, guiada por el método analítico-hermenéutico, en la que se emplea el procedimiento metodológico de la investigación bibliográfica. El texto está estructurado en tres núcleos: el primero busca presentar, en términos generales, el enfoque de las capacidades en Sen (capabilities); el segundo explica la versión de las capacidades (capabilities) en Nussbaum; y el tercero afirma el enfoque de las capacidades (capabilities) como referencia para la construcción y desarrollo de políticas educativas y propuestas pedagógicas que busquen una educación para la libertad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: The reduction of the subject in the conditions of individual well-being or in entrepreneurship became a rationality that started to be registered as human and social relations. In a way, it started to direct the purposes, strategies and educational processes, guided by individualistic and competitive interests. Given this, this paper aims to affirm the capabilities approach as a relevant theoretical proposal to guide educational policies and pedagogical strategies that contribute to the freedom of the subjects, human formation and social cooperation. The study is constituted as a qualitative research, guided by the analytical-hermeneutic method, in which the methodological procedure of bibliographic research is employed. The text is structured in three sections: the first seeks to present, in general lines, the approach to capabilities in Sen; the second explains the version of the capabilities in Nussbaum; and the third affirms the capabilities approach as a reference to build and develop educational policies and pedagogical proposals that aim for an education for freedom.]]></p></abstract>
